Very friendly staff, also put the heater on in our room before our arrival.

Very clean, walking distance to everything in town and the lake, good bit of space. I liked that we had kitchen facilities- stove/oven (the temporary/transportable type) microwave, fridge sink and full kitted out in terms of knives, cutlery etc. the place is as very clean and looked after. My priorities with booking were to find a good value place where I could make my own breakfast and some packed lunches for the rest do the day, and was walking distance to pubs/restaurants- o hot exactly this.the deciding factors for here versus other hotels I was comparing with were the price was extremely reasonable, and the smart tv/Netflix- although I ended up not using the tv at all but good to know it was there for if the weather was bad or something

There’s nothing that can be done about it without a massive refurbishment but some stuff felt a bit dated- having said that, it was all of good standard and well maintained. I found the shower quite small, and I felt very overlooked with windows going straight out to reception/car park and a house on the other side. How’ve Te, those are just personal preference because I’m used to my own home not being overlooked and being able to wander around nude from the shower haha. Wasn’t really a big deal.

It wasn't that we didn't like anything more that the building is quite dated simply due to its age. There weren't many power points and I doubt there was much insulation.

Umit was very cleam, easy walling distance to town, close to cycle way for Lake to lake ride. Were able to store bikes in lock up.

Turned up early by 2hrs, asked if we could book in early, not a problem. Gave us some useful information about what to do during our stay. Rooms were nice clean and warm. Short walk to town and the lake. Would definitely stay here again

To start off the guy who checked us in was so kind and friendly and offered great advice . Rooms were great and shower was super nice :) we will be back for sure.

The owner Tilly help us to clear the snow off the car. She is very friendly & helpful during our stay. Her son John help us to book tours to Milford Sound & help us to make reservations for dinner.

The owner (thank you so much mate!) and his manager (ask to see him, so funny) were so kind and helpful ! The room was pretty big with a little view on the lake. The lake (and the beach), all the restaurants/shops are close to the motel.

The owners were lovely considering they claimed they didn't have our booking due to some booking system error.

The bathroom was so cold there was no having a shower in there. The beds were very uncomfortable and the heating was either too hot or too cold. The whole place is aged and has quite an aged smell.

The location was prefect. The lake near the hotel was a bonus. you can walk to lake in the morning and even to city.

The host is very welcoming. Its value for money and the beds were very comfortable. They also offer Netflix and Disney channel which is always a plus as we are traveling with a kid.

The shower water pressure.

The fit out of the room was excellent in terms of kitchen facilities and curtaining. The internet was very stable and fast. Everything was very comfortable and what made it even better was the fact that the hosts were very customer focussed. I was there for eight days and it was a great chill out.

The TV options were limited in my room but Netflix was available if needed. This potential downside did not really impact on me given I was able to access Sky TV on my iPad.

Spacious, clean and tidy room nice staff, and they also have cute cat managers! (though we only met one~~)

Great little family run motel close to town. Lovely gardens and looked after us well.
