Aug 2021We absolutely loved our stay. Room was lovely and spacious, comfy bed, well appointed room with everything you needed. We also really enjoyed the spa bath. Not to mention, the view from the room was AMAZKNG!! (room 23). Thank you for a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Jun 2021This motel is excellent and to be honest shouldn’t really be called a motel! It’s so warm and cosy (but big) with the heater left on for our arrival which was so welcome. The view is great, beds are super comfy and there’s a hob to cook on too.
It’s a bit expensive but that’s Mount Cook in general so not really a negative to this property.
Beautiful place to stay which is close to Hooker Valley and many other walks.
Sep 2022The view is amazing, and the motel rooms are very modern and clean. The lovely owners contacted us after one of our children left their ski jacket behind when we had left, which was very much needed for our upcoming days in the snow. Very well-equipped kitchen, everything you need. Heating in the rooms worked very well.
I think it stated under floor heating in the bathroom, but our bathroom tiles were very cold, so not sure if it maybe wasn't working?

Jan 2023The unit was super clean, great location, the bed was comfy. The room description said mountain view and we did have a view though it was slightlu obscured. However we enjoyed looking out at the gorgeous snow capped mountains and watching sone comical ducks. The staff were friendly. The position is good, just a few minutes drive from the two restaurants and the walking trails. There is no supermarket or convenience store, so take your own food if you want to eat in the unit.

Jul 2021The perfect place to stay in Mt Cook. Friendly hosts, comfortable accomodation, very warm and well insulated rooms. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Also very affordable. We will definitely be back!

There's no supermarket around so be mindful to purchase your supplies in advance (in Geraldine town). At night, you can simply walk out to the yard for stars gazing.
