Jun 2022We did not stay at De largo as on our way to Christchurch we had an accident and ended up in Hospital. I phoned the Manager and advised of the problem. He was expellant and offered to try to resale our booking he was not successful but came back to us a few days later inquireing into the injury my wife received and offered to give us a good deal next time.

May 2021We checked in quite late at night and the host was happy to have us check in so late, and was more than accommodating. Our room was already warmed up for us which made us happy after a long drive from Picton.

Was visiting my home town and it felt like home.
May 2023Very comfortable room (complete with washing machine), great location and nice shower. Walking distance to some nice cafes and Merivale Mall. Possible to walk to city for those who like to stroll. Will, the manager, was very friendly and offered me an upgrade, as well as help when I needed an alternative for a single night. I had a car for some of the time and the motel has free parking.

Jan 2023The owner was super nice and helpful, and made us feel so welcomed. He gave us lots of advise about where to go for sightseeing and activities. The motel is located in the one of the best area in Christchurch and it's very convenient to go anywhere. There is also onsite parking provided free of charge.
The motel is located next to the big road, so please make sure you request for a quite room if you are sensitive with noise.
Highly recommend staying here. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and pub

Oct 2022The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable, and the location is perfect! The staff is extremely helpful and really cares about the guests. The location is an easy walk to anything that you want to do. The spa bath, comfy beds, and sky tv take it to the next level. We will be staying here again!

Jan 2022The gentleman at the reception was friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy. We loved how there was cold water in the fridge for us when we checked in on a hot day, haven’t seen that in other motels. The showers and toilet was clean. The balcony was a nice place to relax and unwind.
The sofa bed was very uncomfortable other than that everything else was fine.

Room wasn't serviced on on our last night so had to use towels we'd dropped on floor for changing. No one in office at 0730 which was time it stated in compendium so we couldn't remedy as had to depart by 0800

Oct 2022Really friendly welcome. Host gave lots of useful info about area. Washing machine!! What a bonus for travellers who have been on the road for four weeks👍. The host offered to tumble dry our clothes too-free of charge. Room was cosy, comfortable and good facilities . Easy walk to city through Hayley Park.
