Hanoi Pearl Hotel

Very good stay, nice breakfast selection. But if you are little late 9AM+, your options will be limited as some items they won’t re-fill. Overall very nice stay, staffs very co-operative and helpful.

We all got lot of bite marks (mosquito or bed bug or mites), but not sure if it is from hotel or while roaming in city as there are mosquitoes present in many areas of city and around. Also since location is very close to happening area, road closures could be an issue during weekend evenings, taxi won’t drop you at hotel.

very good location, easy to get around any attractions

To be fair, we were there during holiday season, probably there was a short of staff. Our rooms were missing towels, we had to call twice and waited. When a staff brought the towels, she insisted to check on the bathroom to make sure. well, i didn’t want to make a fuss at that time. but actually, it was very rude, unacceptable.

The staff at the Hanoi Pearl are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out if their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location in the old quarter very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and good restaurants is fantastic. The rooms are extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean.

The hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter in Hanoi just perfect for me walking out of the hotel and the real Vietnamese Life is instantly there everything I can ask for, excellent hotel staff, from the cleaning maids to the staff who ran the breakfast area to the receptionists to the door men I couldn’t have asked for more 😊

Absolutely Nothing

The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained, and the desk staff, all of whom are fluent in English, are extremely friendly and polite, and in general very eager to be of assistance. The rooftop bar is very pleasant, especially at night in the outdoor area, with a partial view of the lake and the glass towers of the city beyond. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was impeccably clean, and the bed was very soft but firm, allowing me two nights of wonderful sleep. I want to add that the duty manager at the front desk, Jimmy, made it his mission to ensure my stay was problem-free, going so far as to organize and schedule a ride back to Thai Nguyen for me when my plans changed at the last moment (something I appreciated a lot, given that I don't speak Vietnamese). Thanks again, Jimmy!

The Hanoi Pearl is located in the middle of the Old Quarter. First attractions can be reached within a few minutes. Our room was very clean, breakfast and food from the restaurant are very good. Special praise to the staff - room cleaning is impeccable. The staff in general is helpful and polite.

We were looking for a hotel that was "wheelchair accessible", where the Hanoi Pearl actually meets all the criteria according to this website. However, this is not the case. There is no ramp into the hotel and also the bar and the gym on the top floor are only accessible via a long staircase. Not even a mobile ramp is available. Very unfortunate. The view of the "old town" is just the view of the hotel across the street.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, the location was ideal (in the Old Quarter close to everything) and the staff was friendly and very helpful.

We specifically booked a room with a window which was stated in one place in the booking as having an "Inner courtyard view" (in another place it said that the "Room has no view"). In reality, the room faced a blank wall about 5 to 10 feet away from the window. We wouldn't have upgraded if we had known this.
