The staff of the most part was OK the room was comfortable but a little too modern for me

I asked for a 5 o'clock in the morning wake up call never received it and I woke up an hour late and I miss my flight and it cost me $487 I'm a little bit upset over it one simple thing to make 1 phone ring in 1 room at 5 o'clock in the morning and they could not do it could not do it to busy chit chat with each other I would suspect But so you know my other stays in Bogota I will not stay with W Bogota And when I told the staff that they didn't give me a wake up call they just looked at me like I was crazy or something something not even apologizing for missing the call and then charge me to take me to the airport late So overall I am not very happy with W Bogata

The location

This is marketed as 5 star hotel. Our experience was a 3 star experience with a 5 star price tag. Our hotel room was right next to the street and we could hear everything. Marketed with AC but it was not working. When we were put into a new room the lights and shower were not working and we were told by the staff there was nothing they could do besides offer us a free massage. The massage was in a bright room also right next to the street…not relaxing. The massages were not good and left us both feeling unsatisfied. When we spoke with the manager and staff about all these issues they were unhelpful and quite dismissive of our concerns. Again not a 5 star experience. When we decided to leave they said they could refund us the night we weren’t staying for 3 months. Sorry but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a 5 star hotel experience in bogota. There are many hotels we visited that were the same price and significantly better. The W Hotel is one of these.

The Bogota W is by far the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed at. Fun fact: All W hotels are designed after an urban legend and the Bogotá W makes homage to the Dorado legend. From beginning to end, the experience is magical. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that, as a guest, you have the absolute best experience. All amenities available are a must! The pool is amazing to unwind, the gym is opened 24 hours, the bar is very chic and trying the house cocktails is a must Additionally, all 3 brunches are a must! Their cuisine is next level and one can appreciate local flavours prepared with gourmet techniques. I will definitely be back

Spacious and clean room. Excellent restaurant! Very helpful and kind staff! They helped us book a transfer to Salt Cathedral and to the airtport.

Far from city centre - consider the heavy traffic when schedulling your activities. Good breakfast, however on the last day there were very few options of bread - crowded restaurant. Lack of space to put bathroom amenities inside the shower.

Service is outstanding

Value there are better hotels with cheaper rates

You told me that the Hotel had complimentary transportation between the airport and viceversa. This was not true.

A bit on the expensive side

Staff was horrible. During the check in they were doing anything but the check-in. They were very surprised that they have to help with the heavy luggage. During the breakfast we were sitting with the mountains of dirty plates on the table. When I asked to clean the table the waiter, who spoke with me in English before said that he doesn’t speak English. When I asked the hotel manager she told me that she is too busy to spend a time for me (in Spanish of course, which I hopefully understand). The toilet in the room was broken, constantly feeling the tank with the noise. We spent 4 hours until they changed a room for us at 3am. The sockets in the room were broken too, and I used TV to charge my phone. During the whole stay I unsuccessfully tried to contact the hotel manager. It was the bottom of hospitality.

Room was not ready at check in time. Had to wait 1 hour for it

I was overcharged for my room.
