Aug 2022When we arrived, we were checked in quickly but when we got to the room, it was different from the photos I had booked for the King Executive Bay View Room. I called the services number and spoke to Kaye. She apologized and tried to make things right by providing us with a better room with a view and fixing decorations and a cake for my husband as it was his birthday. The room had beautiful views of manila bay and we absolutely loved it!
The food and staff in the executive lounge were amazing. As well as the breakfast buffet in Brasserie. Special mention to Ken at the breakfast buffet who is so motivated and passionate about his job!
The gym and the sauna and steam room were also lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed using it during our stay.
We loved our stay very much and have signed up to be Hilton honors members!
We booked for a couples massage on my husband’s birthday. The day before, the therapist showed us the room and we called before our appointment to ask if we can use the steam room and they said yes. When we got there, they brought us to the couples room and said the steam room was not working. Furthermore, the bathroom in the couple’s room assigned to us was so dirty - the floor was full of hair.
They then transferred us to another couple’s room. Although the room was beautiful, our 90mins massage was very much average and quite disappointing. Overall, it was a 6/10 experience.

Dec 2021The view from our room is superb. The room is very cozy and spacious. We love the walk-in closet and the comfort room. We enjoyed the executive lounge during sunset.
We only have 1 set of toiletries to share with 4 people but on the next day they gave us more.

Jan 2022The rooms are big and spacious. Its location is ideal for family who wants biking and jogging or for a morning walk. There are a lot of food choices within the hotel vicinity.
Only 3 elevators serve the guests. No stairs (according to hotel staff) going down to the main lobby.
The area was clean and the staffs were hospitable and very accommodating!

There’s not a lot of Filipino food ( specially us Filipino abroad who crave Filipino food when we come home)selection for room service & the availability of food. Not a big deal though.

Relaxing few days in Manila Bay
Jan 2023The hotel is literally connected to SM Mall of Asia which was very convenient when I had to do a lot of last minute shopping before travelling back to the UK. They also have their own mall (S Maison) on level 1 which has a few restaurants, cinema and coffee shops. We got a complimentary upgrade that gave us a gorgeous view of Manila Bay and the housekeeping team was very attentive to our needs.
Got charged for wifi in the other room I booked for my Mum and brother. They did not bother to ask details about the wifi charge and just paid for it but you would think a 5-star hotel would come with at the very least free wifi these days.
We had a wonderful time staying here.
Feb 2022The hotel has a nice ambiance and all the staffs were polite and accommodating. The room was wonderful, clean and had a nice view. Breakfast was delicious as there were a variety of meals to choose from. The location is extremely convenient for people who came to go shopping. Overall, it was a great experience and there is little to no room for improvements.
The telephones in the room were not working properly which we found a little inconvenient. We hope the maintenance would look into this matter for better room to room communication.

Some of the staff members were so dismissive, rude, and did not know information about their own hotel. Difficult to deal with even while inquiring about room reservations. Just one hour into our stay, we learned that it takes at least 10mins for someone to answer phone. No doorman or any initiative to help us with our luggage. Very little regard for our convenience. Staff just looked tired and weren't very helpful. Stayed in Manila Pen the day after staying here and what a world of difference! Staff anywhere else are much nicer and accommodating. Will not stay in this hotel in the future and we definitely do not recommend anyone else to stay here.

May 2022There was a power outage in the wing where our room was located and nobody from the Staff has bothered to transfer us to another room with power until we vehemently complained. No emergency lights in the room, for a 5-star hotel, it was very disappointing.
