The kitchen was will equipped, each room has hammock which is nice. Free water and Coffee is great.

The hostel is very relax and calm, with different types of travellers. The kitchen is well equipped and bathrooms are clean.

The rooms were quite small and there was no warm water from the shower.

The Kitchen is not kids safe. And the equipment was broken or missing or just super old. The showers are cold which is quite fine for me but not for a kid.

The common area is a super cozy inner garden The kitchen 100% top notch, including sharp knives! Barbecue! Great people working there

The forms were small and cerybhot as the windows don’t open. There are 4 ventilators which make a hell of a noise. It was hard sleeping. A pity really because the rest of the place is a 100%

The central area with the garden and seating area is quite nice. The setup with all of the cabinas facing into this and the hammocks all around gives it a cool vibe. The mattresses were comfortable and seemed relatively new. It's one of the least expensive places in the area...

Even though it's cheap for the area, for Costa Rica it's a bit overpriced for what you get. I don't know if our room was particularly bad, but the shower was in terrible condition, the table out front was literally crumbling apart from carpenter ants (the tables at other rooms looked to be better), and the only seating other than the hammock was 2 relatively uncomfortable wooden seats outside. The bed was very squeaky. There was a fan in the room but it was loud and it still didn't move the air much - certainly there was little ventilation with outside air. We wouldn't want to stay more than a couple of nights as it would get uncomfortable.

The best was the hammocks in front of each room. A community area outside the community kitchen. Walk to the park to see everything you came to see.

Kitchen was great to have but kids need to clean their dishes:) location to beach and park was great!

Really nice place in the center of Cahuita.

The bathroom was a little broken, but clean.

Windows were broken, so a bit noisy and lots of Moskitos during the night. Apart from that everything was fine/ great ;)

too noisy, there’s a reggae bar across the road which plays very very loud music, impossible tonsleep

The rooms only have cold water.

The dorm was in pretty bad conditions, the ceiling was starting to fall on top of the bunk beds, the door of the dorm doesn't close properly, it just has a magnet that keeps the door "shut", the lockers also didn't close properly, and there was no wifi in the dorms, just in the common areas outside.
