Hardly anything but it would be nice if cars can park right in front of the gate

We stayed in the cottage, which is lovely. In-room AC which worked very well. Food at the restaurant was good. We were able to book bikes and bamboo raft 2 days in a row. Sunset watching from the canal was magical!

A little far out, we didn't make it back into town at all. Some confusion with activities, we thought we reserved motorbikes but went to pick them up and there were all gone. This happened to another customer also.

We initially were going to stay for 3 nights but extended to a total of 5 because we enjoyed the hotel accommodations and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location is nice and we enjoyed the trips they helped book and our own adventures on bikes.

Very pleasant journey, beautiful hotel with stunning view. The staff is very kind and helpful, providing very useful tour suggestions and good price of tickets. The breakfast is sufficient, room is very comfortable with great bath. Also, very delicious afternoon tea desert (coconut sweets)

All good, I would come back next time!

- Unlimited coffee (amazing for a German) - Easy rent for scooter - Hotel can book all activities for you in advance (sometimes getting a discount compared to purchasing in Yangshuo) - We just traveled as a couple. BUT: for families this definitely is the No. 1 hotel you should choose.

This is our 2nd stay at the Apsara plus 1 stay at the neighbouring sister hotel Moondance. It's ideal for hiking, biking, e-biking, rafting, rock climbing, and rafting ........... Check-in was easy, just hand in the passports/ID and they'll bring them back to you when registered, the public area has a cosy fireplace, a small bar and a restaurant area. Tea and coffee are on hand all day, and afternoon snacks are provided as well. The restaurant food is mostly Chinese but tasty and a few other bits such as chicken popcorn and chips for the kids. Breakfast is fine with cereals, toast, a range of hot foods, eggs and noodle soups. The pool is open all year and the brave in winter can take a dip! there is outdoor seating overlooking the river and a rainproof gazebo in wet weather. The rooms are spacious and rustic. the beds are clean and comfortable with aircon for hot and cold as needed. Some rooms are suitable for families singles couples and friends so plenty of choices. Tips - contact the hotel for we chat connections and they can be super helpful and cater for your needs. free bikes are on hand and the hotel can help with a range of activities, many an easy cycle or within an hours walk. hiking the back trails along the rivers and karst is easy and well worth it but download apps to your phone such as MapsMe, Locus Map and A Map have most of the paths marked between them. The nearest train station is Yangshuo 2h30m ish from Guangzhou and 4-5h30m from Wuhan and the airport at Guilin. The hotel can arrange transfers.

The staff were exceptional! Every day they went above and beyond for us. Our room (Deluxe suite with balcony) had an amazing view and was such a lovely room! The location of the lodge is idyllic and so close to everything (the river/West Street is 10 minutes in a Didi) the scooter rental service was great and the hotel charged the scooter for us when we forgot! The trips out from the hotel- bamboo rafting, white water rafting etc were all organised to perfection and was completely stress free! Would definitely recommend this lovely little hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo!!

The restaurant is very cosy and gives a homely feel. However, there were far too many guests and not enough tables for almost all meal times. This was particularly bad during breakfast. Breakfast was also very limited. There was not enough variety and very limited options. There was also not enough space to make toast and some times the food was cold.

The staff went out of their way to help me whenever possible. The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The location is out of the main city area, but that is what I wanted.
