Feb 2023Wonderful hotel! Very clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely and the free onsen was a lovely touch. It is also directly next to the train station, can't ask for much more.

Jan 2023The hotel is very convenient if you are taking a JR Shinkansen, less than 100 meter away from the station. Spacious and clean hotel with onsen facility that giving extra point of this property
There is nothing much surrounding, not even a restaurant. However, there is a mart in the same building and hotel did sell some light food such as instant noodle and snacks.

Jan 2020The convenience stall at first floor. Saved our poor souls from venturing out into the cold since it is located within the hotel.
Rooms are comfortable and big. And the hot comes with an onsen! The location of the hotel is as expected which is just next to the station.
Overall a good experience.
There is not much places around to grab dinner. And it was a bummer as the only restaurant in the hotel was full till after 8:30pm. So had to settle for food from the convenience stall downstairs.

The family room was lovely, well designed, spacious, quiet and clean.
Be aware that if you arrive late in the evening, there may not be a convenience store open close by.

Perfect for a layover between the islands
Jan 2023Insanely cheap for the quality. Breakfast buffet was as good as much more expensive hotels. Attached to the Shin-Hakodate Hokuto JR station, it is perfectly located for a Shinkansen layover. My room was larger than I was expecting! There's a convenience store and a few other shops with local produce on the ground floor.
Be aware it's quite isolated - I actually enjoyed this (I went for a nice quiet walk and didn't see another soul) but you will need to jump on a train into Hakodate itself if you want to go into town, which is easy enough.
