We planned 2 daya but had some emergency to rush back in. 1day. We were charged for 2 days which is unfair.

Warm welcome by sharmila and prakash. Welcome drink was delicious and refreshing. Restaurant - Mr. Omprakash and team taking care very well. I feel like a home in my stay. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Housekeeping - on my second day they didn't place bath towel and shower cap. My second day In the room Drinking water was not changed. Front office - still I didn't receive invoice.

very well maintained colonial property, beautiful gardens and green spaces

This property has a fabulous atmosphere. The management has done a wonderful job in restoring and maintaining a heritage structure and making it a lovely resort. The Food was outstanding and the warm hospitality of the staff capped it all. On the whole a memorable stay and can't wait to return.

The staff are great and very pleasant. But for a non-refundable full upfront payment heritage property, there should be more complimentary benefits. I was left a bit disappointed. We could have easily stayed in one of the smaller rooms and paid half the price for the same experience.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment (103), which is one of the largest and most expensive rooms on the property. We called upfront about the room (since the photos on the website were generic and not room specific), to ask if there was a bathtub and a sitting area. The lady who answered the phone did not have much idea and told us there was only a sit out area, while there was a living area. When the call got disconnected abruptly, she did not call back. The fridge was not working, they could not/did not fix it. We asked for the fireplace to be lit at 730pm, the guy showed up first at 6pm, and then not until 930pm. Typically, when you book the best room in a hotel, there are some complimentary freebies, but none at Savoy. A welcoming bottle of wine perhaps? These are things we normally expect when we stay in large suites at a Hyatt for example.

The location and the heritage it has.

The Hotel is a over-200 year old property of the British era originally a school. Surrounded by lots of trees & flowering plants it exudes calm and charm. A very relaxing environment.

Everything was nice. Maybe they could start the breakfast buffet a little earlier at 7 pm for those who want to start their day early.
