Hotel Risveglio Akasaka

Was on a Christmas even, very limited options of rooms in entire Tokyo but the hotel was reasonable price. Location was ok with lots of restaurants. Free coffee machine at the lobby.

Very clean and pretty smart design, cold sleep well and take a good shower. I'd certainly consider staying there again if I have the opportunity.

The location was great as well as the room is very clean and comfortable. I really liked the bathromm with a great shower.

The location was amazing, we spent pretty much a whole evening around the area which was lovely. The layout of the room was very smart, and the designs made it feel sheek and artsy. It stands out to other hotels ranged at the price. The bed was REALLY comfortable, I haven't slept so well in a long time it was that good. Also the staff were very nice and friendly.

The location is fantastic. Very central but also cozy. Room was very modern and stylish.

The hallway had a bit of a sewage smell but the rooms were free of that smell. At night we could sometimes hear some conversations from the neighbors through the vents but nothing that was comprehensible. Overall we did enjoy the stay. the hotel is reasonably located to Shibuya about 8 minutes away by train. There is a fantastic sushi place nearby as well as a Shabu-shabu that was amazing. very Centrally located

When we first arrived we were given the key card to our room and when we got off on the floor the cleaning staff tried to shoo us away saying we were not welcome on that floor. We showed them our key card that we had just received with the room number and they let us through. The shower felt a bit loose and would deflect in t he middle but if we stayed on the edges it was sturdy. Other than that surprise the stay was fine, must have been a language barrier.

The beds were so comfy for the room being so cheap in price. Not like a regular Japanese bed. It was fluffy and not stiff.

I wish it described not having a bath. It only had a shower which isn’t a big deal but I wanted to relax. Location was also a bit far from the popular places

The beds are insanely comfortable. Was tempted to steal them! The hotel has a very relaxing feel to it without coming across lazy or gloomy. Beautifully done. The price, considering location, is amazing. The taverna adjacent has some excellent food and drink options.

The shower room needed a clean, especially around the outside of the shower stall it was a little grimy. Also when i turned the aircon on, I immediately started sneezing and having an allergic reaction, so it likely needs a deep clean!
