Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport

Very clean

This was perhaps the worst hotel experience I’ve had, we paid $265 for rooms with single beds and were told that we couldn’t get food anywhere in the hotel, the buffet was full!!! How does that even happen, people go in, they eat and they leave, other people wait for them to leave and then they go in and eat, we were directed to the most ridiculously expensive and pretentious Chinese restaurant ($25 for 1 dim sim) yep you read that correctly, but we were turned away because we had our 9 year old son with us…. No kids allowed!!! Our hungry 9 year old son. We were tired and hungry, the idea of a airport transit hotel is to have somewhere to eat and sleep and clean out some of the travel weariness…. Not this one, we were directed to go back to the airport concourse to a McDonald’s!!!!! Seriously!!! Then there was the train noise all night. The most ridiculously bad experience ever. After sending the hotel 3 emails, I finally got a reply to say sorry we had a not so good experience but they hope we will come back again soon….. yea right, what a way to leave a last impression of a proud and otherwise effective culture and country. They should be ashamed that they leave guests to their country with that sort of lasting impression…. I will be contacting Expedia for a full refund. If there was less that 1 star it would be too good.

The staff was quick and courteous! The room was clean and super quiet even though it was right next to the airport! This was my second stay at the hotel and will use it again if I come this way! I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff was pleasant and helpful, but no more so than I’ve come to expect from hotels in Japan. Very conveniently located to the international terminal, which is why we chose the hotel. The room was a little more spacious than I expected, which was a plus. We stayed in a room with two twin beds, and it had more than enough space for all of our luggage. While understandable due to the pandemic and lack of customers traveling there were not that many food options available. In order to find food for dinner you’re pretty much relegated to food in the airport itself. Most restaurants and shops are closed, but McDonald’s is open 24-hours, and a Starbucks is right across from it. These plus the Lawson convenience stores are about the only option for food after 8:00pm. Once pandemic restrictions subside globally, I expect the place will be hopping again. Until that time, limited food choices are a thing to consider. That being said, it isn’t the hotel’s fault. The hotel itself is fine and extremely convenient to the airport.

The hotel is located next to the airport, and the staff are very nice. However the hotel needs some major updates. I would use it because of the location, but when i don't have to be in the location, i will choose cheaper and newer hotels near by.

Location is great as it is close to the airport, only a few minute walk. Reasonable price for high quality of stay.

Located at Kansai Int'l Airport, you can walk from the second floor of Terminal 1 and into the hotel. Clean and convenient for arriving late and traveling the next day. Parking is at the hotel and free; you can park first and take your ticket in to get validated. While not close to any grand sites, bars, or restaurants, there is a Lawsons convenience store on the second floor by the hotel entrance which makes it great to grab some late dinner. Definitely recommend.

Liked that it was located at the airport. Did not like all restaurants at the property closed by 8:00pm.

I was so happy that I reserved Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport. I had a long flight and arrived in Osaka late. Location is really convenient and I could purchase my dinner and train ticket for next day on my way to the hotel. Hotel stuff were very polite and kind. The room was spotless and has full of amenities. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Japan.

It’s very convenient from the airport terminal.

It is not easy to travel under COVID-19. However, hospitality of the hotel made me comfortable during the stay.

I like how close to the airport so I can find a place to rest for second day's trip after my flight arrive at night.

I got into Osaka-Kansai late at night and this hotel was perfect! A five minute walk from my gate, comfortable bed, easy check-in, and really convenient for getting to my train the next day. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend!

Hotel Nikko is the most convenient hotel just steps away from the airport terminal! I got upgraded from a premium economy to a business class room for free, most likely due to low occupancy. I loved the shower which had fantastic water pressure, the room was extremely spacious, and the drinks stocked in the fridge are included as part of the business class room. Double ply toilet paper was a nice touch after seeing most rest rooms stick with paper thin single ply.One complaint I have is that I was placed in a smoking room even though I don't smoke. And the front desk agent didn't care to ask for my preference.

Hotel is next the Kansai International Airport, so very convenient to catch a fright. Room was clean and quiet.

Highly convenient within 2 minutes walking distance of the Shin-Osaka station. Nearby train tracks start rumbling in the morning but earplugs are provided FOC.
