May 2022Wish they could fix their elevator, I heard its been under maintenance for the longest time. The rooms need updating as well. Overall a pleasant experience. Staff was fabulous and helped us tremendously.

Nov 2021We stayed at Waterfront since it was close to airport and had easy access to the Departure Covid test facility at airport in Mactan. We were required to have a Covid test prior to our flight from Manila to USA on the 27th. When we checked in we were allowed to leave our room but once we went to to go have our Covid test the day after we arrived the hotel would no longer allow us to leave our room. They said it was their policy since we had a Covid test. I explained to them the test was required for us for our departure flight from Manila on the 27th. We were not being tested because we were feeling just because the USA requires for our departure flight. The hotel room aircon did not cool the room consistently. I also believe they put us on a floor with people quarantine and with their aircon system I wonder if they filtered the air as the vents for the aircon were very dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to stay at if you do don't tell them you are going to get a Covid test for a departure flight.

The easy access to the airport is fabulous, the customer service was outstanding, food selection we good and pool area we loved. Due to the typhoon the elevator isn’t working which isn’t their fault. However, the staff delivered our luggage to our room. The room was spacious and clean. Exceptional value for the money.

Aug 2022The staff was very attentive and courteous. The breakfast buffet was superb. My complaint is the elevator was not working and our room was on the 5th floor. Also, need to make the shuttle to the hotel more visible. We relied on porters to transfer our luggage. Thanks.

Nov 2022The staff was great. BUT there was no hot water in my room, there was no fitted sheet on my bed (just a tucked in flat sheet that untucked) and the air con didn't work.

Jul 2022The service was amazing, staff were very accomodating, could not fault the service one bit. It is also very convenient as it's right next to the airport, only wish it was more walkable coming from international arrivals althoughdomestic arrivals is okay. The reception and communal areas are okay as well, but could do with a bit more modernising with the hallways where the rooms are as they look dated. I was also surprised that the elevator/lift was still not repaired/functional at the time. Although it was damaged due to typhoon Odette, it's been more than half a year since the typhoon happened. It didn't really bother us as we only had a one night stay but I could imagine it would be inconvenient to others especially if they stayed for more than one night and especially if you got multiple luggages to carry from the top floors. Other than that, great accomodation overall.

Nov 2020The room was clean and comfortable, but there was no hot water. I had to take a cold shower. I've experienced that problem before at Waterfront.I ordered fish and chips to my room. The fish was so-so, but the chips were inedible. They tasted like old grease.It was disappointing to have an experience like that in such a nice hotel.

Jun 2022The hotel staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I was feeling at home as soon as I enter the hotel. The elevators were not in service due to a typhoon last year and are still being fixed so we used the stairs to my room and the staff carried my heavy luggages eith a smile. Enjoyed their delicious breakfast buffet the next day before my flight.probably the best breakfast buffet in Mactan. And the food service staff were very friendly as well. I kept coming back to this hotel because they deliver the same best service every time.

Dec 2022Staff fantastic, breakfast fantastic, fairly priced , close to airport , 12 months after the typhoon hit and still the lifts are not yet working ? Would have given 9 out of ten but can only give 6 out of ten because of the lack of elevators , but I would recommend this hotel so long as you can climb stairs

Stairs are not safe as I got injured on my shoulder while I was going upstairs due to an extra concrete block with sharp edge on the right side of the stairs. Further, only one restaurant is available with a very limited menu though the staff of the restaurant are so kind and cooperative

Apr 2022Sadly, they seem to be struggling. The elevator is not working, out since December, my stay was in April. Also, the restaurant was out of MANY food items, and drink items. Not really sure why. The air conditioning in our room did not work, making the room temp uncomfortable for sleeping. They could not fix it and did not change our room, claiming they were full. Transport to the airport was easy. The pool was nice, but no pool towels. Oh well, it was a one night stay. If I must stay in the Cebu airport area, I will seek a different venue.

Feb 2020Room is dated. They need to upgrade. Bed is not so comfortable. Lines are thin. Towels are kinda old. But like the available toothbrush and slippers. Very expensive food in the bar.

Sep 2022Really a good hotel to stay. Great rooms. Clean, comfortable, spacious. Staff friendly and very helpful. Proximity to airport is amazing! Walking distance. Slight inconvenience of climbing stairs as repairs in progress on elevators. Other than that definitely worth staying here.

Nov 2022Overall the service was good but I lived a bad experience with their restaurant. It takes time before to be resolved and finally I didn't eat over there. The chef was arguing that the meat cannot be cooked correctly because it was frozen before. How a chef could pretend he cannot cook correctly frozen meet and arguing with the customer that the customer cannot complain.
