Very close to Christchurch Airport, within walking distance, but free 24 hour airport shuttle available. Large open internal courtyard with garden, lawn and seating areas provided an outdoor experience accessed from the main corridor and the downstairs rooms of two hotel wings and the second storey rooms had a balcony overlooking this area. The room we had was at the front of the hotel and did not have a balcony and overlooked a carpark.

Tried to email the hotel as we had questions but did not get any reply. Had to resort to texted in IG. Hotel was kind enough to accommodate my bag 5 days before check in. Room was clean and furnished with coffee capsules and drink packets. Shampoo, conditioner, body and hand wash as well as body and hand balm were provided. An eco-friendly female sanitary sample pack was given. I thought it would be great if toothbrush, toothpaste, bath balls, cotton pads are provided. A variety was provided for breakfast. Hotel is very near airport, supermarket and some restaurants. There's Alexa provided which makes setting alarms, checking weather forecast a breeze. Shuttle bus to airport was prompt and driver was helpful and friendly.

This is a great property to stay if arriving/departing on late or very early flights. I would have rated this hotel as a 10 but unfortunately we had a frustrating start to our stay. We called the hotel 4 times from the airport to arrange the shuttle as instructed and were put on hold each time then the calls dropped out. We had heavy bags and in the end walked down to the hotel from the airport, only a 5 min walk but we were tired and as in our late 60s did not have the energy of our youth! Would use again and hope the arrival shuttle arrangements work next time.

This airport location hotel is within easy walking distance from the terminal, however runs a free shuttle service 24/7. It is located close to a supermarket and shopping centre with takeaway food outlets. On our visit the staff were super friendly and efficient. Our room was in the new wing (I believe there is a refurbished wing as well) and had everything we needed for our overnight stay.

The staff were awesome! I have had surgery and was alone. The concierge helped me tremendously with bags, ice, and getting me to the airport and even wheelchaird me to the Air Nz check in.

The Staff at the Sudima are always very welcoming and polite. They always work hard to meet all our requirements. We always stay here when we visit Christchurch.

The shuttle service at midnight was prompt and nothing was a bother- we had had a long travel day and the courtesy and hospitality was outstanding

The hotel was clean and warm and convenient. Amazon Alexa was very handy in the room.

The airport shuttle is such a bonus - ideal for when you traveling. Gus & the concierge team were incredible - extremely friendly & helpful. Gus went out of his way to help a solo mom traveling with a 3month old.

Sudima Christchurch Airport is an excellent, value-for-money choice if you have an early flight to catch. It is not as near to the passenger terminal as the Novotel but it is still within walking distance. There is a Countdown supermarket and a variety of dining options adjacent to it. Great location!
