The room needs better blinds if you intend on sleeping in. The adjoining door was unlocked and there was no way to lock our side. Granted the other side was locked. There was concern for the possibility of someone entering our room from the adjoining room. Aside from those issue, the bed and room were comfortable.

The property is set on top of a hill which provides nice scenery. A patio with BBQs provides space to cook and eat outside. Very nice pool too!

The hotel was clean and centrally located to the places we visited during the weekend.

The hotel is in a good location. Reception spotty-even though the proprietors are nice. We were lucky that they had just changed the carpet in the room. The curtains were filthy and the glass of one window was blown. Breakfast was simple and started at 8 am. The experience was not worth the high price.

Room was very clean & roomy. Very comfortable bed & pillows. A bit pricey for what it is but it is in a great location for wine tasting in Amador County. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was only lukewarm because it was the main reason we booked this place & I was a bit thrown off by the interesting military esque check in process that I have never experienced elsewhere.

Ken is a great host. Very veteran and First Responder friendly! Rooms were clean, modern and nicely designed. comfortable bed. Great views form bedroom window.

Great location for wine tasting. Pool was not heated but jacuzzi was hot. Limited dining options in area. Avoid Mexican restaurant next to hotel. Food is so-so. Donut shop great for breakfast and sandwiches.

Good stay. Comfortable bed. A little pedestrian and long in the tooth for the price but available for a one night stay and close to our activities on short notice. Let us check in early too. Nice view.

Check in was a strange experience that almost had me think twice about staying. Not a pleasant encounter with the owner. But the room on the other hand was great. Large, well appointed, and probably the cleanest motel room I have ever experienced.

Beautifully clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good place to stay, but not very accommodating. Booked a pet friendly room through here for a business trip and when we arrived they told us we had to call in advance to make sure we would get a pet friendly room. So we had to drive all the way home and leave pets with a friend. Unfortunately they were the only hotel in the area with vacancy otherwise we would have stayed else where. Do not recommend for business travels.
