White Sands Cove

This was our third trip to San Pedro and first stay at White Sands Cove, we would definitely stay again. This unit is a beautiful private spot in a quiet enclave of condo owners a couple miles north of town. The facility is gorgeous with birds all over, big mature trees and flowers lining sand paths and the beach. Clean, well-appointed rooms and our phone service, TV and internet worked well (plan for slower speeds at times but always usable). Rosie and the staff were lovely and on top of things. We had storms and got eaten alive by sand flies, don’t forget the bug spray and bite treatments.

This property is just lovely, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We did have an issue with the fridge that they were not able to resolve, but they did try. The location is not too far from town, but far enough away so that it is quiet. You do need a golf cart here.

The rooms were great with bedroom being airconditioned and kitchen area being more like the outdoors. The floor being tiled was great.Loved the pool and the bar.Staff was so warm and welcoming and went out of their way to serve and wait on us. We really enjoyed our 4 night and 4 1/2 day stay. TV's in both rooms were nice.

The property was nice, but the staff is what makes it exceptional. Anything and anytime we needed or wanted anything they were there to help.Thanks for an excellent two weeks.Rosie, Candy, Israel, Ashanti, Karyn and everyone else are fantastic. We miss you guys already.

The codo was spacious and the AC worked great. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements. We were provided with purified water and they refilled it several times. They picked us up from the water taxi and also drove us to the airport on the last day. They helped us rent a golf cart at a great price and coordinated our at home COVID tests. The people were the best! We loved our trip and would stay at this location again.

Overall had a great stay in San Pedro at white sands cove. The room was clean and spacious and staff was friendly. We got a welcome drink upon arrival and the on site restaurant was delicious. Great location north of the town so it was more quiet and felt safe. The only issue with San Pedro is an issue plaguing the Caribbean area as a whole. Sargassum is the stinky algae that washes up on shore and smells like rotten eggs. The entire east side is covered on the island. White sands has a barricade to prevent it from washing up but this means no ocean access. The pool was nice though and secret beach is really close by

It wasn’t the room we booked, no towels, needs better communication, they send a driver to pick us up without being told we had to pay or even what amount

I can not say enough good things about our stay here. First of all.....a big shout out to Britney and Vanessa behind the bar for breakfast, lunch, dinner, after hours and all the shenanigans in between. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The management went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! Terri and Rosie (aka Salad) at the front desk will greet you with a smile and help your dreams come true. Can't wait to return!

Fantastic food, everyone was friendly & helpful on renting golf carts, tours etc.

Clean room gets a 5.Quality of service gets a 3 b/c my Frig was broken and didn’t get replaced until the next eveningWiFi was reliable and useful and I give 5Hotel is located on a secluded island. If you want that it’s a 5, if you want some action, it’s a 2. Plus, you need to know it’s only accessible via small plane or water taxi..

Bed needs to be updated. No longer comfy. I liked that you could purchase fruits and vegetables right at resort from local. This would be even better if it was advertised. Even a bulletin would work. I wonder what we missed?

A friend and I were traveling together in Belize and when our flight back to the US was cancelled, we had an extra day added to our trip. I found White Sands Cove from the great reviews, booked, and we showed up 15 minutes later. The staff was great and very nice to us while we waited for our room to get prepared. They even upgraded us to get us in a room sooner. We hung out by the pool and took in the pretty surroundings of the grounds with a complimentary rum punch in the meantime. We also arranged to rent a golf cart for a few hours to go to dinner a few kilometers away. Everything was working out and going well, but there were some electrical issues with the room. They worked on it for a while and got everything up and running, but then the light in the shower went out, we only had 1 towel, and we found ants crawling all over the bathroom sink counter. We were only staying one night, so it wasnt a big deal, but in talking to other guests it sounded like there were other electrical issues going on around the property and others were getting moved around between rooms. Because of all the wonderful reviews, we figure our experience may have been a bit of an anomaly.
