The onsite hot spring spa baths are amazing. This hotel is clean, convenient and very affordable. Its not a luxury property but the spa rivals anything Ive seen in even the finest hotels -- and its FREE for guests. This is my new Nagano go-to hotel! Plus the hotel is only 1 block from the JR/Nagano station. Great shopping and restaurants all around the hotel and a Starbucks across the street. Even though the hotel is near the station, its on a small, quiet side street so it is also quiet. Its really the perfect place to stay for a getaway. Ill be back!

Probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in while I’ve been in Japan. Comfortable bed, lots of space and storages or clothing and bags.

It’s close to Nagano station..pretty much across the road. That is the best thing about the hotel.Inside it’s new but basic. Room size is small. You can open the window which is something important to me.Pillows on the bed seem to have a filling of depleted uranium and are extremely hard. I asked for a better pillow and they found a softer one but it was still pretty hard. I found it hard to sleep because of this. On the top floor is an Onsen. These are shared and if you are a man then you will share a bath with other men. It isn’t private. You need a room key to access these baths. The laundry is in the men’s Onsen for some reason.Late at night they offer free noodles. Don’t expect too much though.Overall it’s an ok place to stay but I really wish the automatic light near the room door could be turned off..it is really annoying because it’s super bright.

Hotel room size is pretty standard for the usual Japanese hotels. I picked this because of the rooftop baths and since it’s autumn the thought of a good soak after a day of sightseeing was very inviting. Location is very conveniently located within a few minutes walk from the station as I had an early morning start the next day but without the noise and busy-ness you’d expect from being near a train station. The complimentary ramen for supper is a big plus as well as the hot cocoa for non coffee drinkers at the complimentary all-day coffee machine.

Great staff and clean hotel. Small rooms but very comfortable bed and nice and clean Onsen. Good breakfast selection. Close to Nagano train station. All in all highly recommended.

Great hotel. The room was very spacious for a Japanese hotel. Very convenient location. The Onsen was really nice. The free ramen was great too. I wish they had s free car park though.

Everything is great! From the time of arrival to the time of departure, all the staff show real professionalism including those at the front desk and in the kitchen. The location is very convenient as it's only a 3 min walk to the train station with plenty to shop and eat.If I absolutely have to pick on one thing to change, it's the 'white' room light. I personally prefer to be in 'yellow' light because it's softer on the eyes after a busy day.

Always love to stay at Dormy Inn, room size at Nagano is bigger. Clean and love the ramen too.
