Jul 2017While front desk staff were friendly enough, cleaning staff seems non-existent in this motel. With a massive deep clean, this would be a very good, no frills motel. However, this place is filthy. I was hoping to express my disappointment during check out, but I waited at the front desk for a good 5 minutes without anyone coming out.Room was large and bed was comfortable, good shower pressure. Stains on carpet and comforter. Cracks on walls, broken and dusty baseboards. Moldy spots on bathroom ceiling, dirty faucets. Had to adjust the bed skirt and noticed garbage under the bed. I'd recommend booking ahead of time and staying elsewhere.

Jul 2017We were travelling into the night and booked on expedia. It was nice to find hotel and know we had a room. We were tired. We just wanted a clean bed to sleep. We rang the doorbell as it wasnt open. A nice lady booked us in with a signature and we were off to sleep. Bed was clean. A good place to rest for several hours before we resumed our travels

Aug 2022This place is scary! The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly and parking was just outside the door so you could make a quick getaway. Everything else was negative. The tv was greasy and there was no cable. The phone and phone book were located on the floor behind the dresser along with numerous other things we dare not investigate. I opened the door to the hallway and entered the Bates Motel. There were rooms with huge holes in the walls on the hallway and missing ceiling. The owners are doing the best they can, but I don't think they have any staff. I honestly think they won't pass a health inspection if one is ever done. The cost on hotels.com and amenities and health measures lead you to believe this is a safe place to spend a night on a long trip but it really isn't. If low cost is your main priority, you'll have an amusing story for friends and family!

Jun 2022There was no record of our booking. The first room they tried to give us was not cleaned. (We checked in at 11:30pm) The second room had paint chips missing, a broken lamp, a broken TV and trim was missing around the door. The fire alarm was pulled off the wall. It appeared that someone had broken into the room before as there was a large plate over the door latch. The telephone didn’t work. The small fridge was on the carpeted floor and the room smelled musty. Although it was advertised there was a continental breakfast, there was none. Even with the $72 we were charged, it was far below any standard expected.

Very run down and shabby and not very clean.The window didnt open, which maybe wouldnt bother some but to us is a major problem with trying to breath forced air all night. The rugs need to be ripped out and dumped and the walls need a good scrub, some new blankets, shower curtain and drapes would be a plus.The bed linens were fresh and clean, which was a bonus, and the Internet was goodThe room was quite large, so for the price,,, not bad for a one nighter, but leave your shoes on

Oct 2022I got to the hotel and they told me that they did not have a room, and that this has been an ongoing problem with Expedia. Expedia issues bookings when there are no rooms. The hotel staff spent a lot of time finding me a hotel and issuing a signed statement for when Expedia says I owe them money. Last time with Expedia.
