Hotel Ciudad De David

VERY nice hotel. Not huge but big enough. Nice clean rooms very comfortable beds. At check-in staff was very helpful and accomodating after they accidentely gave away our room. But no complaints since they upgraded us at no extra charge of course. It's located in the center of town so no real need for a car. They have a nice big parking garage great for us because we rode our Harley to David so it stayed out of the weather. The breakfast buffett was great only reason i put a 4 on service was the staff in the restaurant need to be more attentive to guest they are waiting on. At one time we waited 15minutes just to get our waiter to bring our refill of coffee to the table. But other then that I can not complain. And almost all the staff speaks english thats a plus because my husband does not speak a word of spanish so it gave me a break from translation duties. lol

This property is very convenient for people visiting David and vicinity. Staffing could’ve been more helpful and attentive. They treat you like family. Specially people from desk. Rey and Carlos were very informative. Panama is spectacular. Highly recommended.

This is the best hotel in the area. Almost everything is perfect however watch out if you ask for wine or liquor. They may give you something else and if you don’t know already the taste of your wine or liquor you may not know what you get. It did happen twice to me but they did not charge me after I told them that is not the normal taste of what I have ordered

This hotel is in central David, not far from the airport. The hotel has an onsite parking garage, the first and second floor of the hotel. The hotel reception service is excellent. The hotel interior design and furnishings are contemporary and comfortable. The only issue is traffic. Not much you can do if you are driving. Streets are narrow and congested . Use the Waze application and you will be able to navigate the city. Otherwise, an excellent overnight stay for my business meeting needs.

The staff were superb!!! Especially a beautiful woman at the front desk that gave us directions also us water & local for our road trip

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for us during our stay. The restaurant had a great menu, everything we had was very good. I would absolutely recommend a stay here.

The staff and service was excellent

The room was comfortable, overlooked the pool which also had an outdoor bar. The front desk was helpful. The food was good..I didn't have the breakfast buffet.

The property, room and restaurant were very nice. I was surprised to be asked for a credit card payment at breakfast after we were told the night before that the breakfast was complimentary.

The best choice at David by far. They know it, so they charge a litle bit over the average for this rate of hotel. But is worth it. Great food at the restaurant, well above of David average & not expensive. Special mention for the staff, my daugther left a toy behind, they call me to ship it, you don't see that on all places...thanks

Room service should run after 10pm

Really nice hotel, enjoyed a drink by the pool when we first arrived. Room was nice clean and had a good view of the city and sunrise. A better gym than most hotels but still pretty small. We used the sauna which was awesome.But really felt good value for money with the buffet breakfast which had an excellent selection of good quality food and drinks. We’ll definitely come back to stay here.

Really excellent service and very clean hotel

Prior to Covid the restaurant and hotel were EXCEPTIONAL! We always chose to stay here because we could get convenient quality food along with a clean, modern and comfortable room. But the restaurant is now a disaster! We ordered 6 times and only the cheesecake (which I doubt is prepared in-house) was edible. However, the actual hotel service is still exceptional. But honestly, I’ll likely look for somewhere else to stay next time because we’re just THAT lazy. We want the convenience of the entire package if possible.
