May 2022Right off the highway. Right next to a Tim Hortons and a convenience store. The manager was very nice and accommodating.
The walls are paper-thin. You can hear every little conversation including anyone who might be snoring in the room next to you. I literally felt like I was sleeping with a stranger. Very dated. Needs an overhaul. Especially the bathrooms.

As menntioned, it was a necessary bed and the accommodation was clean, which is all that was needed.
Sep 2022Overall, just fine - I just needed a quick, clean place to crash for the night, so I wasn't looking for anything glamourous. The communication was good via text/computer.
No easy, close place to get a quick meal - even the neighbouring Tim Horton's was closed. I would be very tempted to use the service again but feel that it should be less than $100 all taxes in, considering it is beside a truck stop and most people like myself are likely only using it to get a few hours of sleep en route to some other place - for that purpose, I feel it is a little pricey.

It was comfortable, convenient and I felt very safe staying at the Motel Express.
Dec 2021I stay at Motel Express every time I travel to Nova Scotia. I have been staying at Motel Express since 2006 and recommend it to anyone that I know is travelling. I just love stopping and overnighting there.

Feb 2022I like the location off the highway, Tim Horton’s and the gas station. It is easy to access and no contact convenience. My dogs were welcome and it was easy to take them out with no hassle of a hallway.

Great for 1 person who needs the basics, and doesnt care about anything remotely fancy.

Very basic and dated room, bathroom was clean but had definitely seen better days, TV was small.
