The room was quite big and impressive.

Very expensive, definitely not worth what they charge. I did not like the fact that there's no parking lot, you have to use their valet.

the room was lovely and a great size.

we were delayed in arriving and didn’t get to experience the pool as apparently it closes at 6pm for swimming and kids even though the website and all info states 7pm! we only stayed one night and booked the hotel for the pool so we were very disappointed. we also booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and got a room with one king bed and a sofa bed which was not made up or even any linen provided for it? the man working on the door of the restaurant was lovely.

The room was gorgeous, big and lots of space for what we paid. The location is perfect for many things Dan downstairs in the little shop was lovely and made the hotel.

There was no room service so they said they'd bring our takeaway order to the room and didn't, they called asking us to collect it and then sent the driver up. The front desk staff were just plain rude and refused to call a restaurant for us, order us a taxi, bring cutlery to our room - we were told 'we are not a concierge' (And we are very kind, polite people) The public access to the pool is crazy!! We would try to go for a swim at the hotel pool which we were paying GOOD money to stay in and couldn't even get in as there as drunk, high, half naked people listening to very loud music were taking up seats and taking three towels at a time. Guys were coming up to my daughter and creepily asking for her social media and when she politely said no they got very rude. This is ridiculous for a hotel and I have never seen it before. My mum was laying by the pool and a pool staff rudely woke her to tell her to watch her bag, why should we have to watch our bags at a NICE HOTEL that we are paying money to be out?? because of the public cliental you are attracting. This should be properly said when booking and not just 'public pool access' BUT 'the public are allowed in the pool and this is very much an event that occurs with loud music'. We were meant to bring my son who is 20 years old and he would've been refused access to the pool as he is 20 years old. This was also not told to us. Comparing this mondarin with the one we used to go to in NY there are significant differences and if these aren't cleared up it'll be gone like that one too.

The room was cool and designed well. The sky bar and pool were great. Staff was very nice but cleanliness did not match.

My room was dirty and had toe nails on the ground. It also was very dusty and there was hair clumps everywhere. Not my favorite especially for the location and price of the hotel

The room is so big and good design also the location in the best street in LA, bed is so comfortable, bathroom mirror lights is perfect for make up, there is plugs every where, the pool is great

I have to schedule for a room cleaning and they only clean the bathroom, it’s like a kid cleaning, they would throw a thing you need but leave a dirty tissues on the table, we stayed for 8 days it was a disaster. There is no self parking and the valet is 60 dollars per night!, uber is around 8 dollars per trip, so just get an uber, I parked on public parking near the hotel it was way cheaper, if i payed 60 dollars per night it would be 480 dollars in total for 8 nights!!

There was no breakfast. Not even room service

Nothing worked really. Not even the hot water. And the staff seemed clueless and gave wrong information over and over again.

The pool here is incredible and such a sun trap. Drinks by the pool bar for sunset is gorgeous, and the drinks were reasonably priced. The room was huge and really bright which is great for getting ready and the bed was really comfy. Location is also fabulous and in a pretty safe area with walking access to everything. Lastly, the staff were AMAZING. Best staff we’ve probably ever had at a hotel stay. especially Tim on front desk, Peter on the bar and the GM, Jefry. Thanks for making our stay guys!

The pool and bar

Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel in years or that I can remember. I stay at hotels a few times a month at the minimum and I’ve never seen such bad service. From the Front desk hanging up on me for asking to rush cleaning for my room that I requested around 9 am (the call I was hung up on is when I asked again at around 330 pm) (the one and only time I asked to clean my room the whole stay?)to the valet not taking my car and forcing me to go park in a lot because he felt like I asked him to bring it up aggressively. Basically this hotel offers a bed and shower in a great area but absolutely no service

The only good thing I can say is the location

The price was insane for what was provided… the entire hotel is run down and needs renovations, the pool area was disgusting, stains on all of the furniture it looked nothing like the pictures. The bathrooms were motel standard at the most, the plug in the bathtub had been taken out and left on the side! Staff were rude didn’t offer to help with our bags, the bell boy actually spent most his time at the front desk talking to the receptionist, I had to stand there and wait for them to finish their conversation before I could be served. For $700 a night they need to be offering a lot more then they did…. Disgusting

COUPLE NIGHTS THERE WAS A PARTY IN THE NEXT DOOR AND THEY MAKING TOO MUCH NOISES AND COULDNT SLEEP... REPORTED TO RECEPTION TWICE AS THE NOISE WAS TOO MUCH

There was not hot water in the room. when we told the staff, they said it was because they didn’t have many guests, but they were not resourceful.

The hotel room had plenty of room and location was really great.

Staff weren’t very friendly / helpful at all and just frowned at us every time we came in and out of the hotel. The pool was closed one day which meant we couldn’t use it on the sunniest day after all the rain. There was a huge leak and the lobby looked really bad and messy. Also there was no hot water for a full day which no one communicated to us - when we rang the front desk no one had any answers about when it would come back on (we were quite surprised no one contacted us to let us know either we were just left hanging and they were quite rude about it). Also there is loud music playing until about 2/3am most nights so definitely ask for a higher room if you’re not going out (we luckily had earplugs). Lifts also just randomly stopped working sometimes which was scary.

The front desk check in staff were not welcoming or professional. They are the first impression that your guests have when they walk in the building. They need training and polishing.

The music from the Sky Bar was so loud. I don’t understand why such a tiny area needed such loud music. Also the website description was this is a relaxing place. The music kept us up until 2 am. This is not relaxing.

The concierge was excellent. The swimming pool area is awesome as is the view. The recommendations made as to dinner options were great.

My friend was arriving earlier than me and I had messaged the hotel as to when my friend was turning up and included both of our names on the booking. My friend was not able to check in earlier and the hotel said they had no record of our booking. I turned up a few hours later and the booking was able to be located and we checked in. I paid extra for the certainty of early check in. It was very disappointing when you are both travelling a long distance to have this not be co-ordinated by the hotel.

Pillows were flat and small. Toilets were cheap Need toto or equipment.

The Bed was extremely comfortable, the entire staff was great except 1 Gentlemen working at the front desk.On 3 different occasions I asked for help for something simple and he would say no that's not possible! Example, could I get any king og bowl to put some water in for my puppy to drink in the room. Response, Everyone behind the counter we don't have any dog bowls. Gentlemen said no so I asked can I just ask room service I just need a bowl. The rude guy says no. Within 10 minutes another staff member who overheard my request was at my door with 2 bowls. The aforementioned occurred 2 more times all with the same employee,

The beds were comfortable.

I asked for an electric kettle about three times before getting one. The front desk didn’t gladly provide paper cups for me. There is no food in the hotel.

Staff were friendly Always clean

Just the fact that room service needed to be booked was a slight inconvenience but not a deal breaker.

Staff, Rooms, Bar and Restaurant

Size of the room was really unexpected, very large and comfy.

There was a weird smell. Through out the hotel. Well at least in the elevators lobby and my room. It was like a perfume, but a cheap unpleasant one. I would prefer the rooms just smelled neutral - which to me means clean. Just smelled like they were trying to hide a bad order with an overly perfumed one.

Sam the manager was awesome. We had a small issue and he made us feel so comfortable. The staff are excellent and always make us feel welcome.

We couldn't get to the restaurant but understand why. Maybe let us know next time. The pool might need a clean up also as it looks a little was for ware compared to my last visit a few years ago.

Room was spacious. Medium comfy because very sterile.

No ice available on the floor. Tipping for car, bellman, multiple ice delivery, and everything else; $50 per day to park my car, NO FOOD!!!! The Skybar looks like a run down dive bar and nothing like it was. No one was helpful and the parking is a disaster. Also, I show up and the STAFF is dressed in jeans, and denim jackets. SLEAZEY!!!! When it was a real hotel, the staff wore Armani and looked like they wanted it to be a cl;assay place.

Room was great, and I appreciate the fact that the staff met all my requests (higher floor, wide city view), actually giving me a free updgrade.

Pool area was extremely limited and already booked/reserved for the whole weekend by the time I got to the hotel. The idea that I had to reserve (and pay up to $1,500 or so) just to be able to sit somewhere by the pool in order to enjoy some leisure time by it didn't leave me very satisfied. As a result, I never used the pool, that was always overcrowded

we all got sick from catching a stomach virus from the pool and there were building works at the hotel during our stay which was not advertised.

Very unprofessional staff on duty. They did not inform us upon arrival that we had to call room service to have our room cleaned due to COVID. Actually our room has never been cleaned during our stay which I find completely unacceptable. The receptionist at the front desk was unfriendly. In addition the hotel does not have Apple Pay and no other solution was proposed from the concierge.

Restaurant was closed. Pool really wasn’t on the roof top. It has a roof top view. Security told me bar closed at 6 so I left. When I came back down found out bar was open til 2 am. Looks like he didn’t want me there. Not Hollywood enough. Would ask for a refund but don’t have the energy or time. Will just book across the street next time. Price was lower pool looked nice.

I didn’t have a mini bar nor fridge in my room , I feel as like I over paid for my stay , there were no tv’s in the outside pool/bar area I couldn’t watch the nba playoffs , no restaurant on site they had to order from across the street and they cancelled my order after waiting almost an hour they put me on the second floor which is definitely not worth it no good view and after everything offer to put me on the 4th floor which was equivalent to the 2nd floor overall disappointing and I’d rather stay at an airport hotel then this spot hopefully things change for them in the future
