Very friendly employees

Very old furnish. The bathroom is basically in the room (no isolation you can hear everything), the carpet is very old and dirty and the soundproof is not existing (you hear everything in the hall, above and next to you..).

Very comfortable room. Great staff. Good walking distance from where we needed/wanted to go.

A note in the bathroom suggested (asking to leave towels on the floor if needed replacement) that rooms are being cleaned every day - they weren't The rooms/bathrooms are pretty outdated, very strong smell of bleech On street parking limited but doable, free 8pm-8am. Not the nicest streets around the hotel though, which was surprising given how close it is to tourists streets Not sure if that's because of being very windy at the time we visited, but windows seemed to be poorly sealed, making lots of noise at night

This is my favorite hotel ever. I hadn't been able to stay here in quite some time due to COVID, but was so happy to book my stay here for my most recent visit to LA. This hotel is all about price and location - you will not find a better priced hotel with this location in Hollywood. The hotel itself isn't lux, but the rooms are well maintained, the bed is comfortable, the staff are wonderful, and the mini fridge fits a lot of waters and food. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Trader Joe's to fill up on snacks and water (or a very short walk down to the corner where the CVS is), and I stocked the fridge with breakfast foods for my stay this time. It's also walking distance to and from the Hollywood Bowl which is preferred since traffic in and out of the Hollywood Bowl is a nightmare. Happy to be traveling again and getting to stay in my favorite hotel!

The room!

The very friendly and helpful staff, It is well located to Hollywood Boulevard, shops and public transport. The kitchen was great to heat up meals and wifi excellent.

The staff were pretty friendly and very helpful especially Joshua. I like the grab and go breakfast that they offered, it was good start to the day. And also I liked that the hotel had an on-site laundry facility.

There was nothing that I didn't like about staying here, however... (It's not the hotels fault) but the neighbouring hotel was very noisy, just for one night on a weekend.

The service before check in, during check in process was great . The location and distance to Hollywood Blvd was a great surprise and at a great price.

Furniture needed to be cleaned in room.

The room was ok for the price we paid - it had a comfortable bed and the bathroom/toilet was fine.

However, the room was really tiny - and after 3 days there, without any hotel housekeepers, we were quite happy to leave.

The room was big and nice. The room wasn’t clean even after the housekeeper cleaned it the other day. The AC works perfectly which is a big advantage in california.

The main problem wasn’t with the hotel, the location is scary. A lot of scary people down the street; drunk, violent, Homelesses. I was afraid to go out. And also- Pay attention - the hotel hold 250$ after you come via credit card to make sure you won’t destroy your room. I haven’t seen the refund yet in my account. You need to pay attention you actually get your refund.

The reception staff are amazing. The African American guy afternoon to evening shift and the other African American guy on day shift are amazing! I extended my stay 2 more nights as I felt am home.

The house keeping ladies are doing an excellent job. Could they please smile more? Thank you.

The property was clean, the room was really cute. I was on the first floor and it was very convenient.

The room was very dark. It was kind of depressing.

The price was among the cheaper in the area and staff were at least understanding. The concierge was polite, even when the front desk was busy. They provided earplugs, which was very kind.

The facilities were disappointing. The plumbing in my room was clogged when I arrived. The maintenance person came to unclog it, and it clogged again with one use. Never seen that in a hotel before, and I have stayed in dozens. Also, the carpet was dirty inside and outside the room. The neighborhood is very busy, although I don’t think anyone will mistake Hollywood for a quiet area - it’s lively.

The place is located near the walk of fame, chinese theatres, ripley's museum, etc. The Griffith observatory, Mulholland Dr. are also close. The room comes with a fully equipped kitchen and silverware.

The place does not have a 24 hour front desk, so be prepared to arrive by 10 pm max or at least inform the hotel about your arrival time. We were lucky that the person at the reception stayed longer than his usual time to let us in. You do not need to opt in for the paid parking option provided by the hotel, there are cheaper and safe options available closer to the hotel. Park at 1726 N Cahuenga Blvd Parking - $10 overnight.

The overall stay was acceptable, but hard to find parking. Include this fee overall if you do overnight parking.

The area is a bit rough, GF got cat called twice by some lowlifes.

The location was perfect, our room was very clean and very comfortable absolutely worth the price.

I thought they were going to have coffee and a light breakfast in the a.m. but none was to be had 😕

The location was perfect for us. It was easy to get around and although the parking was feed the meter type parking, it was easy to find spaces and inexpensive. The hotel is a bit older (shabby chic), but very comfortable and quiet.

The location was perfect and the price was fair. There was a fridge in the room and I was able to leave my bags before/after check out.

The room was a bit small, but I didn't spend much time there anyway. I wasn't given the Wifi access when I checked in, and housekeeping wasn't provided at all. I didn't love the first floor room, and I have no major complaints, but there's a little room for improvement.
