Very accommodating, family and dog friendly!!!

This was the first hot breakfast served to me at a hotel since pre-covid times. It was great. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The suite was spacious and had a nice layout. The bathroom was quite lovely with the jacuzzi tub and shower. It was nice to have a separate couch and table area. The staff was competent and friendly.

The suite was nice and added the extra space we needed with the mini living room and pull out couch.

Beds were so uncomfortable, we ended up packing up and driving home around 6 pm on our 2nd day of stay because there was no way we would have had a good night sleep the 2nd night.

The staff were amazing and very nice. I love the fact that breakfast was served and I was never treated wrong I was happier in this hotel then in a hotel in California.

I would just like more soap. I love showers🥰

The staff was was wonderful and very accommodating.

The rooms in my opinion were a little dated and small our bed next to the window didn't give us much room to get in/out of bed.

The mattress was horrible and was sunk in the middle. The door didn’t fit securely in the doorframe. Very very little counter space in the bathroom and no lighting by any of the other mirrors in the main room.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size and the bed was fairly comfortable. Although our room was clean, it's been a long time since anything was updated.

The hotel has a shabby appearance and the breakfast options were very limited. We had to wait close to fifteen minutes for the coffee urns to be refilled. It wasn't possible to shower because there was no hot water in the tub when I tried--and I let the water run long enough for hot water to flow. Then when my husband tried a few minutes later, the water was scalding no matter what the setting was. He had to wash his hair in the sink.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Easy check in and out. Good breakfast. Good parking and location.

The facility is in need of a face-lift. Common areas like hallways need new carpet and the doors and walls scrubbed. Elevators need work.

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel cleaning staff was very friendly. A very good thing A+.

I had to go and it was a very pleasant stay. My kids had a good time. The pool was a lot of kid's. But the next day I think the other people went home thank you Jesus.

The pool was disgusting unhappy with only vending machine being broken. Uncomfortable with people smoking in vehicles around back and old creepers coming into pool areas to walk around and leave like I have young daughters what are you in there if your not swimming. I want a call from management. Pillows were horrible. No WIFI!! I had to use my hotspot

The room was decent. It was clean and fine to look at.

Took an hour to check in. My door was broken and had to use all the locks to keep it shut. Bed was not very comfy.

The room was clean, the location off the interstate was good, the area surrounding the hotel was safe. Although the hallway looked a little unkept the overall appearance of the hotel was very nice.

There were two main lightbulbs that were out: the entry one and the one on the desk. The linens were odorous, like they had not been changed. There was a distinct tear in the curtain; the carpet and the furniture were dirty. The entry way to the hotel was filthy. The carpets were dirty and unvacuumed; there were pieces of candy on the floor and other debris. It was a horrible experience.

Clean linens; curtain repaired; carpets cleaned and furniture cleaned; lightbulbs replaced; my request for an extra pillow and an extra blanket were completely ignored. I tried to move to another hotel, but there were no availabilities since it was a Notre Dame football game weekend.

There was not much I liked about it. I guess the one nice thing was the gentlemen behind the counter when we checked in were pretty nice.

Room was way overpriced for the size. Water pressure was very low, shower/tub was extremely slippery, I nearly slipped and fell multiple times. Only less than half a roll of toilet paper for a family of 6. Lipstick/or nail polish stain in bed sheets.

The property is getting “tired”. It’s been around for quite a while. The rooms are adequate but need to be updated. Hotel rates ND football weekends are absolutely sinful! They increase the rate by about 5X normal. And “because of covid” they no longer provide any room cleaning services. So they kept the insanely high room rates BUT provide less service. Not fair. Lastly, the water coming out of the taps is un drinkable! Smells horrible!

The only thing that is good about this property is that you can walk to the University of ND from it. Granted its about a 45minute walk but it can be done.

The person checking us in was SO friendly. We asked where we could eat local food and she came up with a couple of answers and explained them.

The number of recent scathing reviews was discouraging, but there were also a number of glowing recent reviews too, so we took a chance on this hotel. I can say happily that the room was very clean (I have high standards), the pool was great (I have 3 kids under 10), and the place felt safe. No smells of recreational drugs wafting through the halls either. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite being super busy (we booked the last king-sized bed w/ pull-out couch available that night, and the place was clearly hopping with guests). Very pleased.

The hot tub was being redone, but that was the only downside. It was mostly a small thing - we were driving cross country, and every hotel we stayed at did not have a working hot tub/sauna - I suspect now is a post-Covid renovation time.

The location was good and they had a shuttle for the Notre Dame football games. Breakfast was adequate. Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable.

I didn't like that we had no room cleaning in the 10 days we were there. I also did not like that there is no shelf in the shower for hair or body cleaning products.

The location was convenient.

Our ceiling was leaking in the bathroom. There was food in the stairwell for an entire day and lots of ants were attracted it was so gross. The back door handle was broke off and then the door could just open from the side without a card. After we switched rooms from the ceiling leaking, our tv wouldn’t work in the new room.

This establishment was terribly dirty and not hygienic or safe (especially in lieu of covid). Although, I usually wouldn't have ever selected this hotel or any Choice hotel, I thought the pictures on their website were genuine but they were not. This establishment not only needs rennovating, it also should be assessed for other health and safety violations. I didn't expect my usual Hilton experience but I also did not expect to be in a significantly unsanitary situation despite the short notice of our family emergency in South Bend. I have never given a company a negative review because usually I can mitigate myself to be more lenient but in this situation, this hotel was not habitable for guests. It would be appropriate and fitting for the manager because his poor management here is probably similar in his personal residence but the owners are most likely purely focused on profit than customer retention. Due to this experience, I will never stay in a CHOICE hotel/ motel affiliated establishment because their regulations and franchise guidance are very low creating a sesspool of unhygienic Hotspots. Beware, the lower price indicates even lower quality.

Rooms were dirty things didn't work found beer cans and dust and pills hidden in room beer cans were under bed Showers and baths didn't work right beds were very uncomfortable

The location and proximity to food, coffee, etc was great! The pool was just fine for what we needed. It was clean and we loved that we could bring our dog!

My family was a little sad the hot tub wasn’t up and running “due to Covid.” Let’s just say it’s broken or you don’t want to fill it. You’re serving a continental community breakfast, if there’s Covid to be spread it’s probably already happening there. Also, breakfast is the EXACT same thing every single day and it’s not very thrilling. A different menu and options that change throughout the day would be great!
