Morris Inn at Notre Dame

No one in sight/available at guest services desk any time we needed to ask a question.

The staff was friendly, (especially the man who took our picture outside and was ready to stop traffic!), the room was clean and comfortable. We were really glad to be able to bring our dog! The main area was really beautiful. We loved walking on campus.

The only problem was not being able to regulate the thermostat.

The restaurant (Rohs?) serves outstanding food, it’s like fine dining for a reasonable price. Shame the full menu wasn’t on for food or drinks and we weren’t allowed outside so got really loud and cold. (Always seems to happen to us) Rooms were spacious, light and clean Grounds were absolutely beautiful, lovely to look out your window and see that

The bed felt damp and absolutely stank. (Seems to be a recurring thing in hotels recently.) Must be to do with sharing duvets with previous guests as duvet wasn’t sealed in a duvet cover. Each hotel we go to I hope the duvet is in a proper duvet cover and each time it is not. It’s impossible not to sleep without it coming out of the sheet, however hard you try.

The Morris Inn is located right on campus and it was a short walk over to the basketball arena for the game. Breakfast choices were great and each of the four of us had something different. Decent choice of bourbons for a late night drink - the Father Hesburgh was memorable. Really enjoyed Suite 300!

The location could not have been more perfect! It was right on campus, and the inn itself was beautiful.

I wish breakfast had been included.

The hotel was the perfect lpcation for us since my son is a student at the law school. Morris Inn is a classy and sophisticated hotel with a very nice restaurant that we enjoyed. The bathroom is much nicer than most hotel bathrooms and the bed is quite comfortable.

I can't think of anything. I would have enjoyed staying longer if possible but our plans only allowed for one night.
