night lady is rude
This place has cockroach infestations and they seem aware of it by staffs reaction to my reporting.
Apr 2022They refunded my money and cancelled my 2nd night without a hassle.
I was put in a room, killed a cockroach then another and staff seemed aware of roaches stating "most people don't complain about roaches". The second rooms also had roaches which caused me to find a new hotel and check out. Absolutely disgusting to rent infested rooms.

Really noisy place at night, lots of dogs barking in the establishment and people yelling in the corridors. It's not the staff's fault, but the walls are thin so it makes it difficult to sleep well. Room was ok, but I expected it to be more confortable for the price.

Mar 2021The room smelled when we arrived possibly the carpet had been shampood? The bath tub dripped the entire three days. Also we were on the first floor and had to keep the curtains closed being there was no sheer curtain only a heavy type. We had put in a request when booking the room to have two rooms close to each other being my teenage boys had their own room. We were told at check in they never received the request and we were on the third floor and first floor. They could not help us or change us the entire three days of rental.
Fairfield Inn Los Alamitos —- cheaper and way nicer.

Jan 2023I filed a claim due to my not staying at the site after finding waste in the toilet, and the refrigerator was filthy. I talked with the site desk manager and received a $0.00 balance receipt with a check-in/ check-out date of 12/30.

The lighting in the first floor hallway is so dark. Need more lighting I think.

The occupants in this hotel looked like drug addicts and suspicious which made me feel very uncomfortable. There were people with dogs, I needed help this morning before check out and could not locate a front desk clerk. Everyone just didn’t look clean. I would NEVER stay here again.

Hotel staff upon check-in would not accept my drivers license. She also would not accept my original birth certificate or passport as a form of identification. She indicated that "other names were attached to the drivers license number". I therefore had to cancel my reservation and redo the reservation in a traveling family members name. This was quite an inconvenience and created financial problems for the other family members.
Upon returning from my travels, I inquired with the DMV about my drivers license issue. They found no problem with it.
With that, I would be very reluctant to recommend this facility to anyone.
Over priced for the quality of the room hallways smelled bad

I left my speaker there on the night stand and they said they couldn't find it and I'm positive I left it cause I didn't go anywhere else, also they said my room would be ready by 3pm and it wasn't ready until almost 4pm, and there was nobody at the checkout desk for almost 20 minutes
