The room we stayed in had a couple broken lights, wasn't properly cleaned (there was a pair of dirty socks in the fridge), several other things were dirty or just didn't work.

The pool was closed and rooms not be cleaned "due to covid" yet that is not disclosed until you get there. And while I respect covid protocol I also expect all covid protocol to be followed if a facility is using that yet none of the staff where wearing masks and city pool.ia.open

The beds were too hard, our room was right beneath a pool table that was in the lobby and the staff did not prevent people from playing pool after 10pm and they played all theough the night.

when we arrived at the hotel our floor in our room was dirty like it had not been swept. the room smelled like mildew. our lamp did not work and the phone did not work. I had asked twice for house keeping to come and change our towels out. I finally had to walk down stairs and ask the front desk staff. the girl was so nice and helpful, she said I am sorry about that can I go up and collect the dirty towels and give you fresh ones. the pool was freezing, the hot tub was over flowing and had mildew in the corner. the gym smelled so bad of mold and mildew. the food was not worth the money. waffles had batter still coming out and steak was rare when asked to have medium rare. the hotel definitely needs an up hall all over. the front desk staff is amazing and so nice and helpful. for the $526 for the two day. I wish the room would have cleaned better.

The price is way more than i usually pay, but it was worth the view and access to beach. Restaurant downstairs is really good and convenient

The Views

The restaurant was horrible. Our dinner was inedible. Complaints were not even acknowledged!

The views of the ocean were beautiful.

The rooms were not clean, the facilities underwhelming. The screens on the second floor windows were not attached and people were hanging their legs out the frames. If a child were to fall out that would be a huge lawsuit for them! The pools were closed (due to Covid) but every other hotel we've stayed at were open. I can't imagine it's due to cleanliness since there were no extra cleaning protocols happening. The beds were uncomfortable with the tiniest pillows I've ever seen. I was not impressed at all. The value for what you pay is not there. Drive a bit more up the coast and stay somewhere nice.

The toilet ran all night. You could hear everything from outside in your room. The kitchen staff had the radio blaring at 6 AM. I found mouse poop in the window seal. Stained chair, the lock on our door was broken. And the windows were dirty.

The fact that the room I booked was not the room they wanted to give me and I had to pay an additional $45 dollars. I've been here before and was double charged last time but thought I'd give it another chance. Not again that's for sure. Third time won't be a charm.

ant infestation and a huge wad of hair on the desk- we changed rooms and then still had an ant problem. I asked the young man at the desk to have the manager to contact me and still have heard nothing. They have my money, so they don’t really care!

The view is more than spectacular, the staff was excellent. We have Grandchildren in Crescent City, and this was our first time staying at Oceanfront Lodge... but it WON'T be the last. We LOVED it.

The servers in the restaurant were very nice.

When we arrived at the room I noticed the bathroom floor was wet with a puddle of water. I wiped it up with some clean towels and when I looked at the towels they were filthy. When I went to the front desk to tell them what happened there was no response, no apology. Just a blank stare as she handed me new towels.

the restaurant was excellent and the wait staff was friendly and courteous.

the shower had black mold in it. (not good) my Husband and I were there for four nights and our room was never touched by cleaning staff I understand that Covid has changed a lot of things and they could be short staffed.

The property is awesome. The views are amazing, and even on the side of the building, waking up with the waves crashing just a few yards away was amazing. My waitress/bartender was super friendly and helpful as well.

No HDMI access on the TV

The pool table added to the lobby was awesome we met new friends and some people that we didn’t know that are our kids friends moms from the same town too! We all had a blast playing and staying up visiting thank you best trip yet.

no Pool and it was not stated anywhere that it was unavailable, the outside does not look great, our bathroom had a broken base board, the path leading to the beach are just small path dangerous for kids

The location was fantastic. Ocean view was great. Could see Battery Point Lighthouse from my rooms balcony. Dinning room with ocean views; Friendly Service. Great food with reasonable prices.

Service in the dinning room was not good due to lack of staffing.

it was pretty dirty , I had some windex in my truck so I cleaned the windows , didn’t want to ruin the view .
