We love the location with the private beach. We travel the 2nd week of October and weather was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the coffee. My husband and I are coffee lovers and we had like 3 cups of coffee each morning! The hotel was clean and not too crowded. My daughter loved the spa/hot tub. We had a great time. Weiterlesen
The only thing we didn't like about our stay was the pull out bed. It had a pretty bad smell, it made the whole room stink! We had to buy a disinfectant spray and sprayed the whole room and sofa, left the room for a while and came back and the smell was still there but it was a bit less. Weiterlesen

we absolutely loved everything about this property. the location, staff and amenities were perfect.
the private beach was awesome. The on-site rooftop restaurant was amazing and the bartenders were so sweet. The all day free coffee was delicious and so convenient! The waffles/bagels at breakfast were very good! Weiterlesen
the rates seemed high, but also understand this was a popular week for Clearwater.
I also think the beach front chairs/umbrellas should have been included in our stay. The $21 a day seemed a lot to us. I recommend bringing beach chairs or just buying cheap ones to use all week.

This property is very clean. Extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. located right on the water with private beachfront access. lounge chairs and umbrellas can be rented for a fee.. the staff is so friendly. The pool is an equally nice option. There is a convenient store across the street for essentials. A good breakfast each day w plenty of options. A beautiful 6 th floor rooftop lounge/bar area w/fire pits and couches with great water views. In my opinion one of the best roof top spots in Clearwater! This hotel is a really good value. The location is deceiving. My husband and I enjoy taking walks on the beach. We booked this hotel to be a little bit off the busy section with the thought we would enjoy a nice walk up the beach. You can't do that. You have to walk on the street. The beach at the hotel wasn't great. Lots of boats anchor right off. Also $10 for a chair on a not real beach is ridiculous. At the hotel beach be prepared to spend $10.00 per chair rental each day. I thought that chairs would be included in the almost $500.00 per night cost for the hotel stay.
Also, unless you specifically ask, no one comes to clean your room. Our stay was three nights. No one ever came to clean, give fresh towels, take out trash or give toilet paper or other toiletries. Again, for almost $500.00 per night should I have to call them to ask them to clean my room or go down to the lobby for toilet paper and clean bath towels?

Our stay was pleasant and enjoyable.
The entire staff was helpful and accommodating. The room and bathroom were very clean. We loved the restaurant and bar in the hotel and next door restaurant/bar option. We also liked that we could walk to dinner elsewhere. The private beach and pool were lovely. We do not have small children, but the private beach is ideal for families with little ones. We loved having cocktails at the beach! We appreciated that beach towels were available to us daily free of charge. The parking in the building was very convenient. It was nice to take an elevator ride from the parking garage floor to our room floor. It was a short ride to the public beach and other destinations. The hotel provided us with some R & R that we all desperately needed
- The breakfast provided many choices.
- The pool and beach were nice.
- Most of the staff was very nice and helpful
- The location was nice on the city side.
- I liked that coffee was available in the lobby area throughout the day
- The outside bar was great
- The beach area is a bit small but had plenty of room to relax and get some sun. The water was pretty cold! Found out the next day that it is quite a bit colder than the ocean beaches. Weiterlesen
- There was an older woman employee who worked at the front desk who was a bit rude.
- I was charged $30 for beach towels and I had, in fact, returned them AND signed them in. She credited the account but she insisted that I didn't sign them in. (to those who stay here, or anywhere, you should check your invoice before paying).
- I paid for an ocean side and then was sent an email asking if I wanted to upgrade into a suite. I chose to do this but upon arriving, I found out we were on the city side now. I was very upset about this. I was told that, even though people who were not there yet, paid for the ocean side so they could not take those rooms away from them. I explained that I also paid for oceanside. He did end up giving me 1/2 room price back and that helped ease my anger some but not entirely.
- The bed was a bit too hard for me but some people do like that.
- The room does not have a dresser or anything to put your clothes in so we had to have our suitcases out and open at all times (so things didn't get too smooshed for too long. Weiterlesen

- Horrible breakfast, where's Mcdonald's seems like a gourmet and healthy option
-the hot tub was broken trough our stay
-foot washing/shower station at the beach was broken throughout our stay
-since garbage was not removed from the room, it had to be out outside the room. at one point of everyday, hallways looked like a war stricken town.
-Garbage cans near the pool were overflowing with garbage for a few days at the time
-Private beach was a joke, since it was accessible from other beaches and the nearby street.
-Nice staff opened doors to the pool are to anyone who wanted to enter.
-The pool was electronicaly lockable at two gates, but there were two other gates that didn't not require any keys/cards.
-On weekends comes a DJ and blasts music for hours, actually a recognized for of a torture technique. You can't read, sleep, relax, watch movies.....At the same time the hotel keeps playing their own music, so you can imagine the tranquility level... Weiterlesen

The eggs and sausage wasn't good at all it was like power eggs and soy sausage meat horrible and no bacon or ham only like a polish sausage. Cut up and oatmeal was watery.

As great of a stay we had, the negatives were not as significant. There is a security guard for the beach area and pool. He is very rude and definitely has a power trip problem. The other thing I was a little disappointed in was we wanted to use the little fireplace one night, but if the bistro is closed, they turn the fireplace off. Not major. Weiterlesen

I had asked for a later check out and was told the day before it would not be a problem, then when I checked in I wanted to confirm the late checkout, and was told no - we had to check out at 11 - finally he pushed it to 12, but I was originally told that we could stay till 1. The LOUD live music coming from neighboring hotels. If you are willing to sacrifice the view, for some peace and quiet, I recommend getting a room on the city/harbor side. Gulf side is beautiful, but the less than mediocre cover bands, playing all at the same time, is truly awful. Shepherd's Resort is the biggest offender. Weiterlesen

calling twice in one day to have someone take the trash out and bring new towels and calling again at night after they didn’t come, and being asked to bring the trash down myself and get new towels; because they don’t come to clean the room until day 4. I refused as I called 2-3 times in a day and a half and for a family of 4 with a little one that’s very unprofessional. needless to say they came for the trash and then came every day after .
