They did everything they could to make us happy, id stay here again

Tv didnt work, but got there so late didnt matter. They did their best to fix even at the late hour.

The shower head was mobile, and the water was hot. They had a very nice large and pretty garden area and good hot tub. The continental breakfast had many options and it was good. There were two doors. I was able to park my car in by the door in the lot, and easily unload luggage. The front door led to the garden, and we left both open for much of the time to get a fresh breeze going through the room.

The room was dark even with all the lights on and the curtain open. The beds were narrow. The shower could not contain the water so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. It was a bit like camping out. The bar dominates the facility from about 4 pm on, and the drinks and food are served poolside. Everyone is dressed up and it makes it uncomfortable to go swimming at that time. Although the motel was dated and a bit rough, the restaurant menu started at $30 per person...a little more than out budget. It seemed an odd contrast between classy and budget. Obviously they are making money with the restaurant and bar...it was packed every night, but the motel seemed to be ignored and neglected.

The heating is barely adequate. The "breakfast" was a joke...a fat-laden Svenhardts pastry and a small box of juice in a brown paper bag on the checkin counter! Really? Either provide a breakfast buffet or remove it completely.

The room was fine- Very clean and relatively comfortable. A comfy chair in the room would have been nice, but the bed was ok. It was very basic, but fine.

When one looks at the hotel on booking.com or at the website one sees what appears to be a hacienda style hotel-not fancy, but attractive and in an attractive garden-ish location. It isn't, actually. It's right off the highway service road, for starters. And it isn't really an "Inn" or "suites". It's a motel. Just a motel. When I first checked in they put me in a room far at the back, and it would have been very isolated and scary to come in alone at night. The key didn't work, so they gave me a different room, in a better location, with much better lighting. The place isn't bad, but it isn't as good as I expected or hoped for, so I felt that the information on the website is a tad misleading. And for anyone who cares, it is right next to the biggest Dollar Tree store I have ever seen. Gigantic.

Breakfast offerings were minimal and thus disappointing. The locks on the door gave me pause as to the security of the property. Lighting was poor. DISH was difficult to manage. Grounds were unkempt, but the potential for great beauty was there.

The room was very cold when I got there and took a while to warm up. Also in the morning the water in shower didn’t warm up enough for me. The jacuzzi water was also lukewarm. The room was too close to freeway. So it was hard to sleep.

The front desk older man charged my card for 700$ for several nights . Then I proceeded to tell him he did and showed him the transaction he continued to say he didn’t and started yelling at me very aggressively.

Bed was very uncomfortable with lumpy mattress. Pillows and towels had long black hair on them, super gross. Alarm in the room went off at 6 am waking us up

The property was quite beautiful with Birds of Paradise, fountains, a large green space with fire pits, nice interior, and an onsite restaurant. The continental breakfast was basic but adequate; however, don't expect any eggs or meat, mostly sugary carbs. The room was large and had lots of storage space and a fridge, perfect if you are spending multiple days here. I appreciated the refillable shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion/hand soap rather than small personal containers, which are such a waste of plastic. The hotel is right off Hwy 101. We had the room closest to the highway and could not hear the traffic while inside. Last, the property was close to a small shopping center with a grocery store (similar to a Whole Foods) and several restaurants - we walked there (15 min walk) but can easily drive. Plenty of parking on the property, no parking fee.

The room was less updated than the rest of property but still comfortable. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom is quite small. We forgot to take photos of the room but honestly it's not bad. There were some cobwebs in the corner but overall clean. The pool had leaves in it and is not heated so don't expect to swim in the off-season.

The place was great... the grounds are beautiful... and if you spend a little more then you can have a beautiful view of the courtyard. The room was very beautiful, very spacious. They did have a very large closet and a large shower. The shampoo conditioner and bath soap were a wonderful touch. Definitely recommend this place.

There was no microwave... that would have been nice... but they had a refrigerator which was nice.

The location was easy to find and close to the freeway. The staff was courteous and the room was clean. The bed was comfy and I slept well.

The back of the building looks nothing like the front(needs some fresh paint) There was a class reunion going on which was not a bother but waking up the next day and seeing the left over tables and clutter in the otherwise beautiful courtyard just made me go back inside my room so I didn’t have to look it.

The location was a great base for our Wine country adventure. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The courtyard was beautiful.

pool is not heated and not cleaned so unusable. The breakfast was Continental in a bag I’m sure it’s better post Covid.

The highlight of staying here was Rickeys restaurant! The service and food was exceptional! The staff were very polite and accomodating and the drinks were outstanding. I would recommend Rickeys even of you are not staying at the hotel. My overall compliments to the chef and kitchen staff! The atmosphere was very cheerful and friendly. The interior of the restaurant I found very decorative and entertaining.

I didn't like that is says 3:00pm check-in and arrived earlier would not let us check in early. Very well, so came back at exactly 3:00pm to check-in? Was told by the front desk room was not ready, but to wait 10 minutes? Ok, waited and attempted to check-in again? Room is still not ready. Front desk clerk said she doesnt like to hurry the maids because they want a thorough clean done. That should all be completed before 3:00pm check-in? Waited 30 minutes to finally check-in! When tried to fill hot tub? The drain plug would not seal properly? Called front desk for someone to come and fix it? She couldn't find a yo e to come and fix it? Her answer was to put a wash cloth towel in the drain to try to seal it? Wrong answer? Had to step on the plug and fill the hot tib and then run the jets to somewhat enjoy while it was draining. NO JOY!! ABSOLITELY DISAPPOINTING! WHAT A RIP OFF FOR THE MONEY PAID FOR THAT EXTRA LEISURE OF A BROKEN HOT TUB! Bed was uncomfortable! Mattress too soft for those of us with back problems. Shady characters in the parking lot(drug users) and a couple of broken down cars in the parking lot and trash on the ground throughout the parking lot. DON'T LET THE PICTIRES ON THE WEBSITE FOOL YOU?? I would not recommend this place, especially the suites if your looking at a romantic getaway? More like an attempt of trying to make it like a Courtyard/Marriott? NOT!!!

The grounds were really pretty, however, parts of it where you park in the back felt a little “sketchy” . The rooms were decent and I liked that you could park right in front of your room for easy access to your vehicle.

Jacuzzi was Luke warm and not enjoyable. When I asked them to turn the heat up, there seemed to be a lot of excuses. The jacuzzi also needed a face lift. The light fixture inside was out which was super dangerous and it needed to be restored and grouted. It just made it feel “crappy” the water being cold and low was worse though. The morning bag of food is pathetic. (Coffee was decent though) Hotel staff just did not seem to care when something was brought to their attention. Again, the grounds are pretty but back by the parking lot felt sketchy/unsafe at times. Decently priced but could use some updating and more attentive staff etc

Our room was in need of repair- holes in wall and ceiling that had been patched but never repainted.

The great pool scene with Rickey’s happy hour $1 oysters being served with a smile! Also the courtyard fountain & gas fire pits for late evening peacefulness .... and the skylights in the bathrooms!

Breakfast bags! Looking forward to a real breakfast again. Also - litter in parking lots needs to be patrolled ...

the manager. she was so stressed out it made us feel stressed out. she had little to none people skills which are imperative for her job title. get rid of her. we won’t come back.

The garden/courtyard area is pretty. The room was spacious.

We checked out after one night. The heater in the room didn’t work and the night was chilly, and there was just one rather thin blanket on the bed. Spent the night cold. The pool was full of dirt and the spa, which we had been looking forward to, had branches in it and was lukewarm. The entry light to our room didn’t work, and the refrigerator in the room wasn’t cold. The desk clerk was unable to move us to a new room, so we checked out. We were very disappointed.

I liked everything

The courtyard is beautiful and very tranquil and very family friendly. Mission style quaint hotel, but quiet and comfortable with friendly staff.

Water pressure could be a bit stronger and everything you put in the mini fridge rolls out.

Thé breakfast was fair but Spartan. Some bearable items would have been nice (frozen pancakes or waffles, 4x).

The breakfast was a prepackaged pastry, a banana and a juice. The room was fairly clean and comfy.

The staff never mentioned that I could not enjoy the pool with my 10 yr old while my service dogs relaxed quietly in the room, I was then reprimanded for it and told that I would not be able to extend another day.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and quiet. The area is residential so great for walking. There were also stores nearby for anything we forgot. The hotel is convenient to the highway and has a lovely feel to it. It also feels safe. The restaurant (Ricky's) is fantastic, too. Delicious food at reasonable prices. If you don't eat there, you're missing something.

The birds in the tree we parked under left a tremendous amount of poop on the car. But, that was to be expected, right? Just being birds while we were being stupid. There were plenty of parking spaces in front of our room that had no trees overhead. We just made a poor parking choice. Parker beware.

The beds were relatively comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Two free water bottles in the room were a nice touch. The included breakfast was pre-made to go bags with a piece of fruit, a granola bar, a danish, and a small juice carton. This was actually significantly better than any of the other included "breakfasts" that we encountered at other hotels on this trip.

The hotel is in somewhat of a sketchy area and not super well lit outside at night. The lobby is deceivingly nice looking but the rooms are old and dingy. There was a garbage wrapper on the mat outside our room and a chicken bone wing on the floor right inside the entrance to the room (ie it was in plain sight- we didn't have to go looking for it). The floor near one of the beds was very sticky. Aside from the chicken wing the room didn't appear overtly dirty but I was still pretty skeeved out and afraid to touch really anything in there. There was a random knock on the door after 10pm that we did not answer. I recognize that this may have been perfectly innocent; perhaps somebody delivering food to the wrong room or something- we couldn't see anything looking through the peephole, but it was still a bit disconcerting given everything else I've just described. Basically the room served our intended purpose of a place to shower and spend a quick night in a bed (we were primarily camping on this trip), but for the price point (it maybe would have been one thing if this was a $49/night Motel 6 or something) I expected much more. I would not stay here again.
