Sep 2021River boat cruise 🛳, spacious comfortable beds, the environment around the hotel.
There was no wifi access from the rooms, you have to be at the Bar or restaurant to get it. TV has no channels for kids (Dstv). The water in one of the rooms (room 32) was cold, we had to share a bathroom with our kids (room 33) where there was warm water. Our bathroom light (loo) wasn't working.

The rooms were stone cold with no heaters or electric blankets at least. On Saturday there were no towels for bathing/shower purposes. One room there was no bath water stopper. There was no Wifi available in halyards.

Jun 2022Did not eat breakfast. The room was comfortable but not well maintained no fridge. I doubt i would stay at the Halyards hotel again. it is cheaper and the rooms are more guess friendly at B&B. There was a group of guess that were noisy both in the late evening and early in the morning. i also got charge more when i checked in than i was originally quote.
the room wasn't bad but not up to standard. the plug by the kettle kept tripping. nothing was done about the noisy guess.
i travel a lot around the country and stay in a few different hotels.

There was no water due to a drought. This was not communicated before the time. To go without a shower or bath for 5 days is unacceptable. The room itself was not clean - basin plugs were filthy underneath. Restaurants away from the hotel had water in their bathrooms. The hotel has seen better days.
