The villa was lovely and the food was good. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is also excellent. We loved the fresh air. The botanical garden was also a nice outing. It was a very relaxing destination and a good base for exploring the area.

For some reason we didn't sleep very well. The beds were a bit soft, so we had back / neck pain and there were dogs barking at night.

The villa was beautifully decorated and the rooms were big. The beds were very comfy and the villa came with a working fireplace for guests to warm up the place if it had gotten too chilly. The staff was certainly willing to help whenever possible and the view of Mount kinabalu is spectacular.

If you require housekeeping, you would have to request for it. For the amount we are paying, I would have expected housekeeping to be default. I understand the managements efforts in conservation, however just a simple sprucing of the place shouldn't cause much harm. It is also not possible for the bathrooms to stay dry and the sinks are somehow placed too high for tiny Asian people despite being in Malaysia. Facilities are also very minimal, there are no water bottles provided but there is filtered tap water if you wish to fill up your water bottles. Some utensils would also be nice given that there is a microwave in the kitchen. Breakfast choices were also limited, with the food being a bit mediocre for our taste. The staff's smiling faces does make up for it though. We visited during the rainy season. Despite the pouring rain the staff insisted we parked in the designated spaces which were some distance away from the villa. There was space beside the villa which was not obstructing anyone but they made sure that we did not stop the car there and observed us the entire time we were unloading our things from the car which got abit uncomfortable. It would have been great if they were understanding enough to let us just leave the car there temporarily while we waited for the rain to stop. There were no umbrellas provided so ultimately we ended up being soaking wet having to run in the rain.

The villa is spacious and cozy. We are surrounded by the nature. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The price is on the high side and no cutlery provided, but can get from the restaurant upon request

The view of Mount Kinabalu in the morning from our verandah was superb! Awesome sitting area with fireplace as well as the verandah. The meal during breakfast and dinner were so good, value for money especially with the meat (took advantage of the cattle farm nearby). Botanical garden in Kinabalu Park is an additional bonus. Hope to try the hiking trails next time.

It's about time to change the mattresses and put additional lights at the kitchen area.

The view of Mount Kinabalu from the Garden Lodge was breathtaking in the early morning, which is a plus when staying here! The staff at the check in counter was also very helpful, and the breakfast spread was amazing.

The lodge was unable to accommodate our early check-in request, which was understandable. The mattress could need a replacement, but nonetheless we had a good stay.

The staff are friendly, room is closure to the restaurant, breakfast was superb (eventhou it was ala carte, but it was more than enough for us three -1 adult, 2 kids).

- the neighbours next to our room played a loud music until 1.48 morning. It was disturbing so I messaged the staff, but sadly nobody answered my text. I hope the management could be strict about noises made by the occupants, we want to rest after a long journey. - we had to request for toothbrush but sadly, it wasn't given to us. -Liwagu suite 02, roof was leaking so the staff gave us pail to collect the raindrop, luckily the rain stopped.

The staff and service were excellent.

The tiles covering the steps leading to the lodge are not non-slip. I had a very bad fall and banged my head because they were so slippery and wet with rain ( it rains everyday in kundashang ) The bathroom tiles are also very slippery. Especially when walking with the plastic slippers for guests. The rooms also smelt of cheap paint and varnish.

The space of the room is huge. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The weather is nice there

1. no tv programmes because the astro decoder was under service 2. i was given the permission to park beside peak lodge 3 and 4 which i booked but the tenant at peak lodge 2 took up the whole space and security did not ask him to move his car but told us to park our car quite far away. by evening i talk to the tenant at peak 2 and he moved his car 3 hours later. my son parked the car in such a way to enable tenant peak lodge 2 to park beside us. 3. the buffet price at liwagu was so expensive but the food taste was bland and the variety was minimal. this was very very disappointing. not to mention the female staff were very unfriendly and unhospitable, definitely not worth the thousands of ringgit i spent. i asked for plain water for my child politely but her face showed that it was an additional chore for her. 4. if it weren't for the beautiful view this place has to offer, i wouldn't recommend anyone in their right mind to stay here. 5. my sister told me she book the same lodges under sutera sanctuary and it was only 500 per night per lodge. i really felt that i was short change by booking.com by paying 1400 rgt for one night for two lodges.

the scenery and the weather was exceptional

the hill lodges are run down, especially the toilets had this weird smell and it was old.

The satuation of room is cool.

When report to check in the receptionist told at 7 morning show the key tag at resturant for breakfast. But on the next day the receptionist said no breakfast. I have to pay RM50. As an old man the room has no toilet. I have to climb up staircase to toilet. Very sad.

The room was excellent and non forgettable memories obtained during the stay. The Nepenthe Suite was really awesome and comfort. The surrounding environment keeps you in touch with lively green natures near to your heart. Really love to come back again in next trip. Must try this room.

The room location was cozy. It is in the forest and we could see lots of birds around us. The room was clean and most of the mentioned amenities were present. The staff was responsive.

The cleanliness in the common bathroom could've been better. The water purifier in the rock twin share wasn't cleaned. I hope the management takes care of it. Also, the light from the outside was constantly lighting up the room.
