Sep 2018We rented the upstairs 2-bedroom unit which offers lovely lake views and convenient access - also is close to restaurants/shopping. There's a nice beach directly across the street. The home is part of a larger community of "bungalows" and has a lovely community feel. The traffic is a bit noisy, but is the trade-off for it's proximity to the lake. The upstairs 2-Bedroom is great for a couple or a family with younger children - and is above of a larger home (that can also be rented) on the first level. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog and things were set up well for that. The owner, Kevin, is very friendly and accommodating. Good find. Weiterlesen

Aug 2021We rent both the upstairs and the downstairs for 2 weeks each summer. The upstairs space worked really well again this year as our “overflow” space - we had 4 different groups in it over the two week period. Aug 2020We had a relaxing stay at Kevin’s property. The view of the lake from the rooftop deck was beautiful and we had everything we needed for a fun filled week. The gas grill was very handy and we ate in most nights.

Aug 2019This was our 5th annual stay at this lovely property and it was great! Three generations, people coming and going throughout the two weeks - the house, upstairs apartment and one cottage worked beautifully. The house was home base with plenty of room for meals, games and playing together - all ages! The game room is always a hit and the living room is perfect for movie nights. This trip there were no paper products or ice upon arrival, although last year there were. Also the kitchen could have better provisions. So check with the owner about what you need to bring, especially if you plan to cook. Kevin is very responsive and cares about his guests.

Aug 2021This property is perfect for a small family vacation. It is clean and owner is very helpful and responsive. The only drawbacks are one of the bedrooms is very tiny with low ceilings and the stairs to enter are steep and shallow. Aug 2018The rental is what I'd hoped for. As a long time visitor to Newfound lake, I wanted a rental adjacent to Newfound Sands, to be close to the rest of my family.
Staying in the former "rec hall" was special in that my children played there each year as youngsters.
Kevin was very responsive to my questions/e-mails, the property had everything our family needed and was just the right space for my family. We loved the deck for morning coffee and nighttime viewing of the lake!

Jul 2018Quaint spot with amazing views of the lake from the deck. We ended up renting the whole space with a large group and my husband and 1 and 2 year old stayed in this space for the stay. We were able to bring in 2 port o cribs and set up for the kids to nap and sleep in. There is a small kitchen and a bathroom (with a tub) that was really just perfect for us in what we were looking for. Kevin was super knowledgeable and attentive in answering any questions we had. Oct 2021Nice second floor apartment with a deck with an amazing view of Newfound Lake, which is directly across the street. This was perfect for the two of us for an October week. The place was clean and exactly as advertised. It was great to have access to kayaks and it was very easy to carry them across the street and put them into water. The kitchen is a little sparsely stocked -- if you're planning to do a lot of cooking here, you'll need to bring or buy everything you'll want to cook with including spices, oils, etc. Fortunately there's a decent grocery store a few miles away. Aug 2020I stayed with a family of five. This rental unit was the right amount of space for the price and the location was great. The only small down side for us was there was no dinner table to eat as a whole family, but there is nothing that anyone could do to fix this based on the layout. The owner responded right away when I had a question. However, I had very few questions because all information was clearly communicated.
