Eingebettet in Idaho, dieses charmant hütte für EUR 118 pro Nacht ist ein großartig Option für Ihr nächstes Pause. Unsere brandneue Hütte befindet sich im wunderschönen Flathead Valley, nur 9 Meilen von Whitefish und ungefähr 30 Meilen vom Westeingang des Glacier Nationalparks entfernt. Eine rustikale Hütte im Lodge-Stil, inspiriert vom rauen Geist der National Park Lodges, die mit viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut wurden, wie z. B. kreisförmige Holzböden, Betonplatten und gewölbte Holzdecken. Unsere Kabine ist 500 Quadratmeter groß, hat ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen-Size-Bett und einer flauschigen Daunendecke, ein Badezimmer mit einer begehbaren gefliesten Dusche und eine Küchenzeile im Wohnzimmer. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine Mischung aus handgefertigten Möbeln und Ledermöbeln, einen gemütlichen Holzkamin sowie einen Fernseher und einen DVD-Player. Wir haben kein Internet. Verizon bietet eine gute Zellabdeckung, aber Sprint-Benutzer haben Probleme, ein Signal zu empfangen. Die Küchenzeile verfügt über Betonarbeitsplatten, einen kleinen Unterbaukühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle, ein großes, tiefes Spülbecken und ein 2-Flammen-Glaskeramik-Kochfeld. Die Kabine ist komplett mit Geschirr, Töpfen und Pfannen, Besteck und Serviergeschirr ausgestattet. Zwei rote Andironack-Stühle auf der Veranda bieten einen weiten Blick auf mehrere Gipfel des Gletschers, der Swan Mountains, des Whitefish Mountain Resorts und der Whitefish Mountains. Zum Grillen im Freien gehört ein Gasgrill. Unsere Hütte befindet sich auf dem gleichen Grundstück wie unser Hauptwohnsitz auf 7 Hektar. Die Hütte ist ca. 50 Meter von unserer Residenz entfernt. Unser Grundstück liegt umgeben von Ranches und Feldern. Die Alfalfa auf unserem Grundstück wird zweimal geschnitten. In der Regel einmal Mitte Juni und einmal Mitte August. Wir sind von großen Ranches umgeben, so dass während der Schnitt- und Erntesaison Rinder, Pferde und gelegentliches Ranch-Equipment zu hören sind. Dies ist die Heimat vieler Hirsche, so dass Sie das Privileg haben, Hirschen beim Laufen und Spielen auf unserem Grundstück zuzusehen.
Mai und die erste Junihälfte sind eine spektakuläre Zeit, um Glacier and Whitefish zu besuchen! Die Going to The Sun Road ist während dieser Zeit für den Verkehr gesperrt, sodass Sie ohne Verkehr auf der Straße radeln und wandern können. Whitefish ist in dieser Zeit ruhiger! September und Oktober sind auch erstaunlich, um Gletscher und Herbstfarben ohne die Massen zu sehen!

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this property and our only regret was that we could not stay longer! Don and Joyce are wonderful host and extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. The cabin is quaint, spotless, comfortable, perfectly situated between Kalispell and
Whitefish, and an absolute joy to be in. By far one of our best VRBO stays and we definitely recommend it! If you are looking for some peace, relaxation, and comfort - this is your next stay... enjoy!

Apr 2023This was the perfect cabin for our first stop on our honeymoon. Don and Joyce welcomed us on our arrival and were so sweet and helpful. The cabin is beautiful and so comfy! The wood stove was amazing, especially at night when we were relaxing. The view of the mountains from all windows was spectacular. Everything was wonderful!

Mar 2023Don and Koyce do an excellent job of having the cabin in good (great actually) shape! They greet you at the beginning of your stay and you are on your own afterwards, as it should be. Always available but only in the event that something is needed. Great place, clean, well kept and all the amenities of home! Could not ask for more! A1 - 5 out of 5!

The cabin was cozy & clean - perfect space for our mini anniversary/get away trip! Tons of games and travel guide materials provided in addition to some breakfast staples.
The cabin has a wood burning stove and a couple electric wall heaters so it stayed warm in late October. Very happy with our stay & will recommend for future visits!

Sep 2022Don and Joyce’s cabin is such a peaceful, quiet, comfortable place to be at. We fell in love with the well appointed, very clean space. From the first walk from the car, looking around at the spacious views in all directions, to falling into bed after a long hike at Glacier NP, we enjoyed every minute we spent at this little cabin. The communication was easy and quick. Joyce answered any questions we had immediately. We were minutes from the quaint downtown area of Whitefish. We highly recommend this place if you’re in the Whitefish area. We would stay here again if/when the opportunity arises.

Mar 2022We have heard over the years about a special place called Whitefish, Montana. Since we had never been to this state before, we wanted to stay at a place that was quintessential Montana. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, country and wildlife, we were blessed to be able to stay at Don and Joyce’s idyllic cabin for our anniversary. They were friendly hosts and we would definitely come again on our next trip to Whitefish. Thank you, Don and Joyce, for welcoming us!

The cabin decor is just gorgeous but the views from the windows are heavenly! We skied Whitefish which was super close and enjoyed a few amazing restaurants downtown. We grilled/cooked at the cabin for the most part and it was the best atmosphere for a cozy, romantic dinner! We will definitely be staying here again! So much love from the Hatfields in Mississippi.
