Befindlich in West Pennington, dieses schön entire cabin für EUR 209 pro Nacht ist ein großartig Option für Ihr nächstes Pause. Entfliehen Sie der Natur und der Ruhe des Waldes in dieser gemütlichen Hütte inmitten der Kiefern. Genießen Sie die Bäume, Felsvorsprünge und die Aussicht von den 1000 m² großen Terrassen. Diese einzigartige Hütte auf drei Ebenen liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Pactola-See entfernt, wo Sie Boot fahren, angeln und die Strände genießen können. Der Edelweissberg ist zentral gelegen. Im Süden finden Sie Hill City, Mt Rushmore und Keystone in 30 Meilen. Nur ein kleines Stück weiter befindet sich das Crazy Horse Memorial & der Custer State Park. Das historische Deadwood und Lead befinden sich im Norden (56 km), wo Sie Glücksspiele im Las Vegas-Stil und den alten Westen genießen können. Die Stadt Sturgis, die für die Sturgis-Motorradrallye bekannt ist, liegt nur 80 km entfernt. Rapid City ist eine kurze 25 Meilen oder 40 Minuten. Jul 2020We would book this place again in a heartbeat. The mountain location is gorgeous and so close to the Pactola reservoir. We rented a pontoon and spent most of a day at the reservoir. It’s also quite close to Custer, which was the second hit of our visit.
The cabin was perfect for kids. It’s very comfortable, with the living room surrounded by windows and huge decks. Our kids played nonstop, and we were able to relax because we could see them easily as they moved from living room to deck to living room. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We used the grill a lot. Wonderful trip!

Oct 2022We were aware of the circular stairway but unaware that one couple’s bathroom was down on another floor and had to walk down flight of stairs OUTSIDE to access it. Coffee maker worked with much difficulty. Fry pan worked once. No dishwasher. Five miles of bumpy gravel road to get to place.

Sep 2021We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very comfortable and felt like we were “home”. The kitchen was well stocked….better than anywhere else we have stayed. It was centrally located for places we wanted to visit…..Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind Cave, Custer State Park, just to name a few. Great rental!

Aug 2019We stayed 3 nights during the 2019 Sturgis Rally and couldn’t have been better. The check in and check out process was a breeze. The cabin was clean and well kept and the deck and views were beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet after a long day riding. Morning coffee on the deck was the best. The spiral staircase was a bit tight, especially for my 75 year old mother but she managed. The cabin was exactly as the description and pictures show. The drive up the mountain was as described, hairpin curves and some gravel. Not ideal for riding a big touring bike but doable. I actually parked mine at the bottom of the mountain and all was good. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again. Check this one out. You won’t be disappointed.

Our family of 6 enjoyed every moment - The living space was lovely, the beds were comfortable, our teens thoroughly enjoyed having the lower level to themselves, and the deck and breezes were wonderful. It was so nice to have a lovely house to come back to at the end of our long, fun-filled days, and even on the hottest of days (107 degrees one day!) it was lovely and cool up where the house was located. The drive up was a bit exciting the first time, but once we knew what to expect it wasn't bad. We highly recommend this property!

Our family of 6 enjoyed every moment - The living space was lovely, the beds were comfortable, our teens thoroughly enjoyed having the lower level to themselves, and the deck and breezes were wonderful. It was so nice to have a lovely house to come back to at the end of our long, fun-filled days, and even on the hottest of days (107 degrees one day!) it was lovely and cool up where the house was located. The drive up was a bit exciting the first time, but once we knew what to expect it wasn't bad. We highly recommend this property!

Jul 2022We had a terrific time staying in your beautiful cabin!! We loved using the top deck to play games every evening. The gas grill was perfect for making dinner each night too! Location was perfect!! Having such a beautiful and comfortable cabin to come back to after a day of exploring the Black Hills was perfect! We would love to stay there again!!

Aug 2019We had a great time staying at the cabin, it was well stocked and close to everything we wanted to do.. Its a little tricky getting there but you are in the Mountains, we didn't have any problems..

Sep 2020We had a great stay at the cabin. The scenery and atmosphere is fantastic. The decor of the cabin was great, loved the little personalized touches with the knick knacks sitting around. The dishes, cooking ware, appliances, were more than adequate. Might need to stick in your favorite spices and steak sauce, there are the basics, but is is hard to stock up for everyone's tastes. Eating breakfast with coffee on the deck was a great way to get the day started. This cabin ranks near the top of all the cabins we have rented the last 15 years, definitely a favorite.

Sep 2020We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the area to visit to anyone who has never been there. We are still talking about it. It was amazing!
Our house/cabin was a little inconvenient for us with the 3 levels and maneuvering the spiral stairs as the four of us are all over 60, however, we were well aware of this when booking. We did have an issue with the TVs/dish not working our entire stay. We contacted both the dish and owner about this problem, but unfortunately it couldn't be resolved during our stay:(
One concern we had though, was that most of the electrical sockets in the building were very loose and would not hold an electrical plug. I'm only stating this because it seems like a real fire hazard, and possibly the owner is not aware of this.
But all and all, we had a wonderful stay; comfortable beds and furniture, very nice bathrooms, washer and dryer was a desirable convenience (and used several times), stocked well with dishes and cooking utensils.
We especially enjoyed the morning hours on the deck and watching wild turkeys, deer and cows roam the hillside.
We probably would not rent this property again because of the 3 levels, however, I think it would be perfect for a family with teenagers who could have their very own level with bathroom included.

Sep 2022Was a little hard to find at first. Made a wrong turn nothing like being on top of the world. What a site! Down the hill we go and found the right turn eventually. Cabin was great. Nice and quiet.Beautiful weather. Fishing and site seeing.

Sep 2021Views were great. The only down fall we noticed was you had to go through someone's bedroom to go outside, downstairs and then back into the house to use the second bathroom and laundry. Besides that we were pleased with how secluded it was.

Aug 2019This property is so clean, unique, in the perfect location, and has the best views! There wasn’t a single thing we needed that wasn’t available to us. The brand new decks offered the opportunity for many places to relax and many fantastic views. It’s easy to tell this property is well-cared for! I can’t say enough great things about the whole experience. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Jul 2021This property is perfect for people who want some space from their neighbors. We took 2 grandchildren on our trip and they loved climbing on the rocks and exploring the hill. The adults loved the privacy. While the cabin is in proximity to major attractions, it is not close. The plus of the location is privacy, the negative is travel time to major sites.

We had last minute family additions, and this cabin was one of only two available that fit our timeline AND it was just three minutes from the original location. It made hanging out and meeting up so much simpler.The views and peaceful surrounding areas were wonderful. The house was well stocked with basics and had a good assortment of toys, games and movies.Communication was very good.

Aug 2022The property is amazing with views like you would not believe. We had all of our meals on the deck and used the grill you furnished. My 19 year old boys enjoyed the lower levels and privacy. Thank you for a great trip.
