Dec 2019We very much enjoyed our stay here. Property is just as pictured. Loved the game room downstairs and the hot tub.
Our car got raided by bears who ate every last one of my aunt’s tootsie pops; they are serious when they tell you to lock your car because the bears know how to open them!
Also, the trek up the mountain was anxiety-inducing for a couple of family members. Others of us thought it was awesome. Just be aware; it is definitely up a mountain! (But an incredible view awaits!)

Jun 2019We stayed for 4 days and it was great! The cabin was spacious and clean. We enjoyed everything from the deck to the pool table in the basement. The drive up was as amazing as the view at the top. We had the pleasure of seeing 4 different bears while at the cabin. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone and would enjoy staying here again.

Jul 2019We rented the property for a reunion weekend of longtime friends & our spouses. Could not have asked for a better place; the view was amazing, the interior was updated, and it was close to downtown Gatlinburg. Would highly recommend!

Jan 2020We really enjoyed everything about the property. Beautiful views and despite what all the reviews said about the drive up the mountain it really and truly wasn’t bad at all it’s not very high up and it’s a quick trip into town.

May 2021We just stayed for a full week at this mountain home. There were 6 adults and we were in Gatlinburg for my son’s wedding and then a week of exploring the Great Smokey Mountains. LOCATION: The home is situated up on the mountainside looking over the town of Gatlinburg, the view from the deck both day and night is awesome. It is a winding mountain road up to the house, but fun once you know where you are going. It was a short drive from downtown up the hill, less that 2 miles.HOUSE: First of all, this home is very clean and we felt very comfortable here. The 3 levels to the house make for privacy when needed and a bathroom on every floor is good. Each bedroom is nice with king beds and bathrooms right outside bedroom doors. The bottom level bedroom is small, no dresser or closet with a double bed and it is cool on that level so needed extra blankets on that bed. Nice washer & dryer and the kitchen was nicely functional for our needs (note that none of the pans are good for making pancakes), and everything we needed was there for us. Living room is small and not much seating. Game room downstairs very big and fun for games. Both could have used a few more club chairs or sofa for everyone to gather and visit after dinner or games.HOT TUB: What a VIEW! Nice to use at the end of day. Chlorine was extremely strong, so it helped to take top off tub for about 5 minutes before we got in, to let the strong chlorine odor disperse. But it was clean and relaxing after a days hike!BEARS: Ummmm there are bears everywhere in this area and we had a daily visit from “Brownie the Black Bear” (as we named him for his brown butt). Stay diligent about no food outside or in vehicle, because he checks every day to see if you slipped up and left something out. He even came up on the lower deck as we were on the upper deck, but he was respectful of people and turned away when he saw us getting up. Such a treat to see them, but always be alert and respect that they are wild and keep them wild. Drive carefully in and out of the hills, watch for the bears anytime of day or night.DOWN TOWN: Weekends in Gatlinburg are a madhouse, absolute traffic jam with both cars and people. Weekdays not as bad and is a better time to go there to explore.WATERFALLS & HIKING: We visited three waterfalls and Cades Cove. Lots of bear sightings in Cades Cove and it’s a lovely drive around the park. Went to Abrams Falls, long somewhat difficult hike, but very pretty. Took the Roaring Fork Nature Motor Trail and stopped to hike to Grotto Falls, beautiful location and you can walk behind the falls. Also did Laurel Falls hike which is very pretty. Each one was unique and worth the effort. We did the chairlift ride up the Anakeesta for the day, it was a touristy spot but still a fun day and beautiful views. Saw a bear while on the chair lift.FINAL THOUGHTS: All in all we enjoyed the house, Clean, comfortable & Awesome Views. The week in Gatlinburg was fun and we loved seeing all the BEARS.Note: When you put garbage in the cage at road, turn the sign to FULL (not EMPTY), so the garbage truck stops to pick it up on Monday & Friday.

Dec 2021We had the absolute best stay in this cabin. We never went a day without seeing the wildlife surrounding us. The cabin alone was amazing. The view was impeccable. At night time during the Christmas is such a treat to see. We had a group of 7 and we were able to enjoy ourselves without feeling like we were on top of each other. The only thing that we were only weird about was how badly the floors are damaged. It kind of became a little bit of a hazard when we were walking in and out of the downstairs bedroom. But literally, the best cabin I ever been in. We already plan on coming back very soon.

Jan 2021We had an amazing vacation experience at this place. When we checked in, everything was in place. Hot tub was on and running. Clean towels, extra trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper and soap. Plenty of areas for everyone in our group of 6 adults. We enjoyed the pool table and foosball table. Downstairs TV is HUGE with awesome sound bar. There was a sofa missing that was pictured In the game room so we had to pull up chairs and stools to accommodate everyone. That would have been the only negative and also there isn’t a true master bedroom since all bedrooms have to access the bathrooms from outside of their rooms, no bathroom connected to a bedroom. The view from the game room was breathtaking. The view from the deck outside was simply amazing! No pictures can truly represent. We were in the hot tub every night even on cold nights and watching the view from it was one of the best experiences! Inside we made a fire a couple nights and I loved having the three levels for privacy for everyone. It has a real cabin feel but very nice inside. Downstairs was the most open with lots of room but if I were to suggest, there needs to be a little more seating area in the game room, but we made it work. All in all, everyone in our group loved the place and we would love to come back!

Aug 2021We had an absolute blast staying at this cabin. Hold on tight as you take the winding mountain road to the top, this is where you're staying. The view of Gatlinburg from the deck is breathtaking. You can see almost the whole village along with the Gatlinburg Skylift and rop bridge. The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Plenty of room for a large family. With all of the amenities one could ask for. We especially loved sitting on the deck for supper and resting in the hot tub after long days of hiking. The trip to and from town is an easy one. We will definitely be back.

Jun 2020We had age ranges from 3 yrs. to 70 yrs. Staying in the cabin. It has three floors with four bedrooms. My husband, kids and myself stayed on third level bc I was scared 3 yr old woul try and go outside without us. My mom(70) and sister shared room on middle floor with kitchen, tv, and jacuzzi bathroom. And my in-laws (60) staid in bottom level with pool tables and walk in shower. This arrangement worked out well for us.
The GPS had us take the bypass, but if you do not want to ride around tricky roads in the mountains, go through Gatlinburgh is easier and only adds a few minutes to your time. We only took bypass ONCE. I was hysterical once we got to cabin!( Laughing, shaking, and crying uncontrollably). With that being said, the view is WORTH IT!!!! The club house was not viewable in route to cabin, but all I Had to do was email owner and he responded very quickly. Owner is very accommodating. While we did not see any bears with our eyes we did notice muddy paw prints on door handles of vehicles and owner was kind enough to send us video of security camera. I can see staying at this cabin through any season and having a good time staying in the cabin alone.

May 2021Very good location for family getaway but the property just looks and feels old. Old fixtures. Poor mattresses. Poor furniture quality. Stripped decking. Place was clean but definitely not worth the 958 a night I was charged after fees!

Jul 2019This cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family weekend getaway. We had a total of 7 guests and we all fit very comfortably. The game room was a nice added bonus and a huge hit with the kids! The cabin was clean and was exactly as described.
The cabin does come with access to 3 pools. A suggestion I would have would be that there should be some information about the pools and their locations, as they are a short drive away. It would also have been beneficial to know that you need a pass in order to get into any of the pools, which we did not have a pass. After some email communication with the owner, he let us know that there should have been a pass in the cabin, and since it was not there then the previous guests must have taken it. He was able to work with the club management to get us a new pass, but we ended up being too busy to make it to the pools. I would just suggest for future travelers that there be more information regarding the entire process.
Many other people commented about the drive up to the cabin being rough or scary, but I did not feel it was bad at all. They are curvy and windy, and had a couple steep hills, but overall I felt they were safe and easy to navigate. Once you make it to the cabin, the view can not be beat. It is absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Jul 2020One of the best weekends ever, mostly due to the cabin. The reviews were right, roads are curvy and location was difficult to find. If you want a true Smoky Mountain experience, this is the perfect spot. We woke up everyday with bear in the yard and they would pass through out the day. Made for a very memorable anniversary for my parents.
The only thing that wasn’t perfect, was the coffee pot. It could stand to be replaced. Other than that, I’d say it was PERECTION!!!

Sep 2020Narrow roads, cant access if you go during winter without 4 wheel drive and chains. We did get to see some bears that came through the yard, one even got in my sisters car, be sure to get all food out of your car and lock your doors. We had a great time and even though the drive up especially at night was scary, the views were gorgeous! I do recommend taking your own grill.

Aug 2020Had an amazing experience staying in this wonderful cabin. The views are breathtaking and not many cabins in this area offer views like this, especially views of the mountains and Gatlinburg. We had multiple visits from bears, but that is why we chose a cabin next to the wilderness. One bear tried to open my car doors while we were home on the deck, so make sure to lock the door. Also, don't let little kids wonder around because the bears are everywhere. The owner was responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. Overall, if you want to fully relax in the beauty of the Smokies and be close to the city, there isn't a better place. Thanks.
