Kabine verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten. Pack & Play auf Anfrage erhältlich. Der offene Grundriss besteht aus einem Wohnzimmer (Schlafsofa) und einer Küche mit Geschirr / Glaswaren, Töpfen und Pfannen, Geschirr, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine usw. Gas & Holzkohlegrill zur Verfügung gestellt. 1 Badezimmer mit Dusche - keine Badewanne. Ein Holzofen ist die einzige Wärmequelle in der Kabine, Holz ist vorhanden.<br><br>NEU - TV mit lokalen Kanälen und DVD-Player. Oct 2019We really enjoyed our stay at Rick's cabin. Very nice cabin. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, and a beautiful location. We also met Rick and he seems to be a great guy. Would recommend the cabin for any small group of folks. Thank you Rick!

Sep 2019We really enjoyed our stay at Rick & Cindy's cabin. The location was beautiful, tucked away in the woods down dirt roads. The paddle Pontoon was so easy to use and really enjoyable paddling around the lake everyday. This was our favorite thing to do everyday! Very Peaceful & Clean Lake. We saw Eagles & Loons Daily. The steps off the dock DO offer a nice swimming area. There was a nice rocking wooden bench on the end of the dock too. Nice /Newer dock made it enjoyable to hangout on. Enjoyed morning cups of coffee with rumchata & baileys. The cabin is Close to Garrison to the Local Bars & Restaurants. A girlfriend & I stayed here & it was a great vacation. We went to the local Dollar General Store to buy some games. Bring cards, board games, etc. ( None were provided at the cabin) I was curious to see what the bathroom looked like ( as it is not pictured) It has a new toilet, a square shower to stand in with a nice big shower head & smaller sink/vanity. Nothing fancy- but clean! Also, the Taplin's provided wood for bonfires - which was very nice. There were NO Mosquitos- they spray for them & boy was that really nice! The Taplin's Cabin, of there own- is right next door to this cabin - They were very respectful of our privacy and very welcoming and friendly. That was not an issue at all. Also, the neighbor popped over to say Hello- John, he was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him. I would defiantly go back & recommend this cabin to friends and family. Miller Lake did not disappoint - I miss the calm peaceful lake view & the stars at night are breathtaking. Thank You for the wonderful get away.

It was a little disconcerting to realize the owners residence was right next to the cabin, but they weren't there for the majority of our stay so we still enjoyed our privacy. The lake was beautiful, and the fishing was a blast! There are the most adorable Chipmunks in the immediate area too, we really enjoyed coming out in the morning and watching them forage all over.

Sep 2020We had a wonderful time. This property is as clean and well equipped as any we've ever seen in 12 years of retirement travel. Very quiet and secluded. Caught several pickerel (northern) and a trophy-size small mouth right off the dock.Hope to return next year.

Jul 2020We had a great week at the cabin. The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Kids loved being able to use the paddleboat, kayaks and water floats. The lake is very quiet and clean.

Aug 2021Very quiet location on Miller Lake. Arrived to a clean beautiful cabin with everything provided (bring towels). Close drives to Garrison, Brainerd and Crosby, for groceries and restaurants. We used this stay to attend Heartland Hockey Camp, about 15 mins away. You will love the cabin’s charm. Thank you, Rick and Cindy!!!

Sep 2020This was an ideal spot for peace and quiet. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We loved the pontoon paddle boat! This is what we used to go fishing and we paddled around much of the lake. We also enjoyed the kayaks and floaties. The glider swing at the end of the dock was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee. It was a wonderful vacation away from the Cities!

Oct 2019The weather was soggy and chilly, but that did not dampen our spirits or vacation. Rick had already started the stove before we arrived so we were very impressed and pleased at the warmth coziness of the cabin. We enjoyed relaxing and cooking in the cabin and we slept great on the comfy beds. Even though we did not take advantage of the dock or lake, we recommend this place for many reasons.

Aug 2020The property is very well maintained with convenient access to the lake. You can swim right off the dock. We used the provided paddleboat and kayaks frequently. The lake itself is clean and very quiet. The hosts were welcoming and the cabin had everything we needed. We would definitely come back!

Sep 2019The cabin was very clean and had all the necessary cooking untensils except large bowls to make potato salad. It was very wet and stormed while we were there so we didn’t build a fire in the fire pit, but we could have. It has a delightful bench on the dock where we enjoyed two loons and cloud formations, and changing foliage. Perfect place for this elderly couple to return to enjoy the magic of Minnesota.

Jul 2020The cabin was perfect for our family. It was spacious and very clean, the bathroom was probably the nicest bathroom I have seen in a cabin. The lake was clean and the kids loved swimming off the dock. We also caught several fish right off the dock. We enjoyed going out in the paddle boat and the kayaks as well. There was space around the cabin for the kids to run and play and the fire pit next to the lake was great. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Jul 2021The cabin is simple but it had all we needed. Everything worked and we had a comfortable stay. The pedal boat was so much fun, and we really enjoyed bonfires lakeside on the cool nights. Owners were very responsive.

Jun 2020Reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful hosts. Clean. Quiet. Clean, quiet lake. Good fishing. Enjoyed the paddle pontoon and kayaks. Great restaurants nearby. Lots of firewood provided. Great place to get away from it all for a week.

Aug 2022Nice, clean place, right on the lake! The cabin has everything you need! Clean lake with clear water and great fishing! The pontoon paddle boat was fun to take out on the lake too. Had a nice quiet vacation with my hubby! Only thing was, the dog across the lake, barking for 2hrs, everyday. It's so quiet on the water, so the barking just echos throughout the area. That's not the owners fault, and the rest of the time was very peaceful. Definitely recommend!
