Aug 2019We spent a wonderful 4 days at this cabin. The stars at night and river by day were beautiful and restful. A couple of notes that would have been good to know...
The water is well-water. Safe, but tastes a bit different. We eventually bought bottled water for drinking. And the second bedroom is an attic loft. Cute, but the ceilings were low so adults could not stand except in the center of the room.
That said, we had a great trip!

Two things: Drain in the bathroom sink is slow and needs to be cleaned. The stair to the second level is very steep, however a top hand rail needs to be added as currently it is very hard to grasp. Overall it is a wonderful location and a great experience.

We had a really lovely time at the River's Edge rental. The views from the cabin of the river are amazing and calming and we spent hours floating in the river or swimming in the hot tub! Note, there is no dishwasher, so be ready to wash those dishes by hand! :)

This river's edge cabin is on the rivers edge and it has everything you will need to be out of the city.except food!you will not want to leave.the yard is fenced in sk your fur baby wont escape. The hot tub was the perfect temp to melt away all our problems and stress for the 2 nights we stayed.The beds were spot on. We were able to watch the seahawks on t.v.play in the snow.sit by the little outdoor fire pit. I am 100% sure I will stay here again.very romantic and private.since my stay I've told everyone to chose this spot for their next getaway. Bonus it snowed while we stayed!!

This is a lovely cabin right on the river. You can sit and watch the river go by. We enjoyed the hot tub outside, also. Th location is great because it is secluded but you can still drive to Leavenworth in about 30 minutes. Just be prepared that this is an old school cabin with a tiny shower and no dishwasher.

The view is beautiful with the river right there. They had everything we needed. It is a comfortable cabin and the fenced in yard was great for the dog. The kids enjoyed the beach since the weather was fantastic! The fireplace needs a cleaning- I think the flue is blocked and the smoke detectors didn't work- but other than that it was perfect!

Our stay at River’s Edge was just what we needed. The house is on the river-we saw otters, eagles, deer and many other animals. The NW Comfy Cabin staff went above and beyond to help us (we left some stuff there...). Our only suggestion would be for them to let people know up front that the water is from a well- safe to drink, but smelled like sulfur.

Oct 2021Our stay was fantastic. Property was clean and well-prepared. The river was right next to the cabin! Hot tub was clean and ready for use. Kitchen appliances were somewhat old, but in good repair and clean. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs, but the low fence might be too low for bigger dogs that jump. We enjoyed our week's stay and will certainly consider returning in the future. Note that the cabin was pretty remote and was a 15 minute drive to the nearest store/gas and 40 minute drive to a larger town with multiple restaurants. That was great for us, but may not be good for everyone.

Apr 2021On the River is an understatement. This place is great for anyone who wants the river out their backdoor. The house is roomy and has lots of supplies and equipment for cooking or entertaining. There was some cleanup around the yard that seemed to be overlooked, but I wouldn't expect that to repeat based off the other attention to detail.

Jun 2021My husband, two kids, and our dog spent a long weekend at this cabin and really enjoyed it. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was great, and this cabin is right on the river. The water was cold, but we were able to splash around on the riverbank. Overall, the cabin was really nice and comfortable for our family.

The river view was breath taking. Lots of extra pillows, sheets. It felt homey. The only thing I would change is that the upstairs bedding could have been updated. The washer and dryer were a huge plus.

Mar 2022My boyfriend and I spent four nights at the cabin as a last-minute getaway from the city. It was perfect - rustic decor with modern amenities. The cabin sits right on the river with big windows to enjoy the views. There's a covered patio and fire pit, and a fantastic hot tub from which to watch the flowing river. The bed on the main level is very comfortable, and the rain shower is nice and hot. Some days we drove into Leavenworth for shopping and dining. Other days we stayed all day at the cabin. We will absolutely book here again!
