Nov 2019What a gem of a cabin! We stayed here with our two dogs during the second week of November.
The drive up the mountain was easy with the roads being paved and finding the location of the cabin was not an issue. The GPS pin pointed us at our destination, which was nothing- but you have to actually drive up a little further to find the driveway- sounds confusing but it wasn’t hard to find.
Cleanliness was a TOP priority when booking our cabin vacation. The previous reviews were extremely helpful and accurate- this place is clean!! We only used the King sized bed downstairs and it was SUPER comfortable but the other beds seemed like they would be comfortable too. The layout is spacious and accommodating. But what will make you not want to leave this cabin is the view. You can enjoy it best from the sitting room inside the house which provides a floor to ceiling view of the mountains or seating outside by the fire pit. We spent a lot of time just sitting and looking at the mountains. It snowed for just one day so that provided us with a picturesque, beautifully magical, fresh fallen snow day.
Although we mainly stayed in the cabin, we drove around town a little, had lunch at Blue Moose (very good) and also ate at Holston’s, which was delicious and the service was excellent.
There is really nothing negative we have to say about this property. We lost some power at one point but I called the property management company and they had someone come out within minutes, it ended up being a breaker issue so nothing serious. The gentleman who came out was very nice also. We wish there were more trails located right where the cabin is to easily take the dogs for a walk. But we did walk down the hill away from the main road where there is currently a home under construction. There is some traffic noise which is easily heard when outside. We would have loved to cozy up by the fireplace but the location of it inside the home doesn’t really allow you to do that because the dining room table is in front of it. But we hung out there playing scrabble and doing puzzles. Overall great cabin!

Nov 2020We were very comfortable and happy staying at this cabin. The property was close to the bustling town, but felt a million miles away. Great yard for lounging with the incredible views, large deck, and cozy fire pit. Inside we enjoyed the pool table and arcade along with the floor to ceiling windows in the sunroom. We look forward to a return visit!

Dec 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camp run a muk. The cabin was very comfortable and the view was awesome. The location is close to all the attractions yet gives you a sense of privacy. We look forward to staying there again.

Dec 2020We stay a week each year in the Pigeon Forge area so we have stayed at a lot of cabins. This cabin ranks right at the top. The kids loved the pool table and arcade game, as well as, the teepee. The husband loved the fire pit and views. It was not very far up the mountain so an easy drive, but the views are stunning. I loved the little sunroom. They had plenty of towels, pots, pans, and the things you need. Overall a really great stay.

Sep 2020We loved our stay! The house was perfect for a getaway with family. The older kids loved playing pool and the video game in the loft while the little one loved the little doll house to play with. The views were amazing- you could barely even notice any houses near by at all. We cooked a lot at the house and there were plenty of kitchen items to use. We would for sure stay again!
Only item I would point out is the driveway. I drove a 4 wheel drive SUV (and still slipped some) but my brothers family who drove a car could not get up the rugged hill with multiple holes in the drive. Once he finally got up- he left his car at the top of the hill and walked to it for the rest of the week because he was concerned of getting stuck again. Pretty crazy considering it was a dry driveway- can’t imagine with snow. Once that gets fixed it’s a perfect location!

Apr 2022We had a nice stay at Camp Runamuk. We were a family of 4 and 2 grandparents. The cabin is tastefully decorated and includes a lot of nice amenities. The only reason I won’t rate a 5 star is that the cabin really needs a deep cleaning. It was extremely dusty in several places and even some common surfaces were not cleaned well. The vanity in the upstairs bathroom had toothpaste and dust/dirt all over it and baseboards needed attention. The upstairs shower is very slow to drain. The location is very convenient to going out in PF and to Gatlinburg and the views are very beautiful. We were glad to be able to bring our dogs along, as well. Overall, a nice stay.

Sep 2020We had a blast at Camp Runamuk! It was the perfect house for kids - plenty of room and they loved the loft, tent and bunk beds. Very clean. Scenery was unbeatable and it felt isolated but yet we were only 5-10 min from all the action. Enjoyed relaxing each night around the fire pit and then in the hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Dec 2021This was our first family vacation and it was amazing! The cabin and location exceeded our expectations ten fold. The views were stunning, the cabin was roomy and comfortable, quiet with a few neighbors and yet still close enough to things we wanted to do that we weren't in the car all day. We just kept saying that we were very happy with our choice. Honestly, I never wanted to leave it was so relaxing. Can't wait to return to Camp Runamuck! The mountains are calling us back already. You won't be disappointed!

Nov 2020This place was incredible. I would highly recommend staying here to a friend. The location is a bit difficult to find but that allowed for seclusion, quiet, and a stunning view of the night sky. The inside was decorated beautifully and just made for such a warm environment.

Apr 2020This cabin had beautiful views of the mountains. We also enjoyed the fire pit and teepee. It was nice having a flat space for the kids to run around and play. Overall, the cabin is decorated very nicely. The furniture was in good condition and comfortable. However, it could have been cleaner. At first glance, it seemed clean enough but then I noticed the floors were not very clean and it needed a good dusting. I also washed the bed sheets and the comforter in the room with the king bed. The drive up to the cabin is also a bit bumpy. It would be much smoother if it was paved. But it helped that we could drive the cars around a loop so it made backing down the drive way unnecessary. I would also mention that whenever someone was walking around on the second story of the cabin it was very loud downstairs. The floors upstairs were very creaky. The stair case is also very steep which is something to consider if you're traveling with young kids. Overall, it's a very nice cabin with exceptional views. It's also conveniently located to everything in Pigeon Forge, including Dolly Wood. We enjoyed our stay.

Dec 2019The views were gorgeous. The cabin was very nice and warm and toasty. It was just a short distance from everything we wanted to do. The kids loved the tent and bunk beds. It was just right for us. We would definitely stay there again. The only fault we found was the driveway leading to the cabin was quite bumpy, especially if you are in a car. If you are in a truck, it was not so bad.

Aug 2022The house were great, It was well stocked with everything that you would meet and we loved the location. We had a great 5 days 4 nights. would definitely go back again.
