Oct 2021We would highly recommend this cute, cozy cabin in the pines. Larry and Deborah were fantastic hosts and have outdone themselves with this property. It is exactly as the listing says but pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed sitting on the porch as well as sitting inside in front of the fire. This was a great, relaxing, getaway. Thank you so much! We would love to come back.

Feb 2021We loved this cabin! It was filled with everything you would need to relax and enjoy time away from responsibilities. Larry and Deborah are generous hosts making sure everything was ready for us. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare easy meals and the fireplace was a wonderful treat, especially after it snowed! Larry even came and plowed the snow away from the drive so we could get out and head to the nearby lake for a walk in the snow. We found a stack of games in the cabinet that took us back and reminded us about the importance of unplugging and just enjoying time together. Best long weekend! Thank you!!

Jun 2022We loved our time in Prescott. We saw deer,rabits , birds in the beautiful ponderossa pines all from the porch of the cabin. We hope to stay there again. It was so peacefull and relaxing. We also enjoyed going down the road to the Linx cafe and seeing the beautiful Linx lake.

Oct 2021Very nice, easy and conveniently located cabin with access right off Walker road. Close to Lynx lake with creekside view and abundant wildlife. We saw deer, wild turkeys and a coyote.

Aug 2020Very cozy and romantic, quiet for relaxing. Word of advice, if you are hanging on the porch, make sure you have your camera or phone, we got to see a very small fawn and momma but didn’t have our phones

Sep 2020This was the perfect experience!!! From the minute I saw the listing and contacted the owners with a few questions ... to checking in.. everything was so wonderful!! The cabin is delightful!! Well stocked with absolutely everything you could need!! Fat enough out to enjoy the trees, birds, stream... close enough to go in to explore Prescott!!

Jul 2022This was our second stay here. It’s a wonderful property in a quiet location. Far enough from town to be quiet; close enough to run in for shopping or dining. The cabin has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We won’t hesitate to book again.

Jul 2022This was an amazing place to kick back and enjoy nature! It was perfect to sit on the porch for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The location was a perfect location to get to hiking, shops, restaurants pretty quickly but felt like we were by ourselves in the pines! Thanks for sharing this piece of paradise!!

Oct 2020This property looked great on-line and was even better in person. The location is perfect, close enough to Prescott and Prescott Valley to be entertained, but also far enough out into the woods to give you a great feeling of privacy and to get away from it all. We went for a few hikes that were close by. Walked around the Lynx Lake.
The Cabin is very comfortable with everything you would ever want. (There is not a full oven but Barbara and Larry have a number of things that made cooking easy as well as a large grill right out the front door.)
We will definitely check availability on our next trip to Prescott!

Aug 2021This is a wonderful little cabin. Close enough to town to shop and dine, but far enough off the beaten path for peace and quiet. Close to hiking; great for wildlife and bird watching. Some javelina came right up to the porch one evening, and we also saw a bald eagle and a bear while out hiking. (Luckily, the bear was running in the other direction!) We had a very pleasant stay.

Apr 2021The only bad part...was having to leave! We arrived later than expected and our host met us outside. Nestled in the Walker woods along with the sound of the breeze and water in the adjacent stream m were deer, turkey, and other wildlife. You could watch them fro the cabin windows or porch. The cabin is spotless, and a perfect stay for a couple. Thank you! We will be back!

We had big plans to do things in the area, but after arriving and settling in, we just sat on the porch, read some books, and listened to the creek and the birds all weekend.The cabin had nice simple interior decor, and we had everything we needed. We felt that our hosts were there if we needed them.

We loved the décor and enjoyed the view from the porch while sipping the bottle of wine that Larry was kind enough to provide. You're in the forest but still close enough to drive into the city. It is so peaceful and an awesome place to just relax or not. There is plenty to do around the area; hiking, shopping, nice restaurants, events or just taking in the sights. Plenty of information is provided by Larry on things to do in the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and listening to the sounds of the wind through the trees. This cabin will not disappoint you. We actually hope to be able to stay again but longer in the near future.

Jul 2020The cabin is really nice - basically one big room plus a small bathroom. The bed, couch, and lounge chair were all very comfortable. They left some snacks, water, soda, coffee, and even wine for us! The cabin is on the same property with the hosts' home right next door, and they were there if we needed them for anything, but otherwise they allowed us to keep to ourselves. It was really easy to come and go as we pleased - the cabin has an electronic keypad lock on the door, so we didn't have to mess around with keys or anything. The only negative was that the shower stall is really small, but there's not much they could do for that - it's just a small cabin so there wouldn't be any space to put anything bigger in. It was only a 10-15 minute drive into town, and there are tons of restaurants and shops, so it was the best of both worlds - we could spend our days/evenings in the nice quiet, cool cabin in the middle of a forest, and still go eat out or shop as we wished. We don't get a lot of free weekends to get away, but we will definitely be back when we do!

Aug 2021The cabin is in a great location, offering a remote nature vibe yet close to amenities when/if desired. Great home base for hiking, fishing, hanging out or browsing in town. It was clean and comfortable. The owners are awesome as well. Highly recommended!

Comfortable and well-equipped for an enjoyable stay, the beautiful forest and stream compliment the experience of this vacation rental: quiet & private. I hope the property is available on my next trip to the Prescott area.

Sep 2021Stayed in for the weekend. Enjoyed a brisk walk at Lynx Lake right down the road. Sunday was a rainy day which was perfect! The cabin is very cozy and clean, our host provided a few snacks, coffee essentials, and best of all a bottle of wine!
