We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Peaceful, great location. Close to hiking trails. Only 15 minutes from Alexandria. We would recommend a more comfortable mattress for the beds and a more comfortable sofa.

We enjoyed our stay at the secluded cabin! Everything was great and soo relaxing! This is the perfect place to get away too! We will definitely go back! Property owners were great!

We all enjoyed this property. I felt so relaxed in this quant little cabin in the country yet close to convenient stores. And only 8 miles from city. We only had couple nights, however, I would have loved to stay longer. Hotels are not the best anymore in this area and I will definitely look at booking when I am back in the area.

This was our second stay at this property. The proprietor and husband were absolutely wonderful, ensuring our needs were met, yet giving us privacy. The property is located in a serene, very woodsy environment, but within walking distance to town. There are a couple of small stores, one with a great deli. Additionally, Indian Creek, a beautiful, very large camping/boating area is only a couple of miles away. We will definitely reserve this property again.

This was a great little cabin but the furniture needs an upgrade. Beds were not comfortable and couch wasn’t either. Also the a/c unit was extremely noisy on the outside and sounded like it was about to break any minute but it kept it cool inside. Owner may want to get it checked very soon though.

This is the second time we stay in this cabin and we just love it! The owner is available and very nice and accommodating to our needs. No complaints at all!

This is a perfect little getaway if you want peace and quite.We enjoyed it so much and we will be back later this year.I only suggest one thing the little table was about to fall and couldn’t use it.I suggest to buy a set of the folding tables that you can unfold and it on since there is no room for a table.Other than that we loved the cabin inside and out.It is very nice and clean.They have a grocery store and Dollar store just right up the road if you need something or forget something.Very pleased with our stay and very reasonable prices.

This is a great weekend getaway spot. Will definitely be returning for couple only weekends with the Hubby and weekends for the kids. There’s nothing like having peace and quiet of country and the comforts of home. There’s books, games, cable tv and internet service if you need those. PS the couch is comfy.

This is a beautiful property located in a beautiful place!! It was comfortable and quaint. The kitchen was perfect for what I needed and the amenities were spot on. Only complaint I have is the lights in the bathroom weren’t as bright as I would have liked for applying makeup but overall I would chose this property again without hesitation!! Highly recommended!!

This cabin was perfect for our visit to the area! The host was quick to respond to questions and assist me with information about Indian Creek. It is a very short drive to Indian Creek and about 15 minutes to Alexandria. We thought it was the best of both worlds....cabin in the woods with city conveniences. We would definitely stay again!

This cabin is awesome! Beautiful, clean and fully stocked. Was a joy to stay in and would definitely go back.

There's nothing like the charm of a cabin with all wood interior and lots of trees on the exterior for privacy! It was a bonus to have a washer and dryer, too. The a/c was new so, we were cool and comfortable. We met the hospitable owners. They live a little further down the same main driveway but it's winding with lots of trees so we still had enough privacy. We were there in mid-June from Thursday through Tuesday. It would be helpful to have places to hang clothing. But there is an iron, ironing board and dryer to remove wrinkles out of clothing. Everything looked like the pictures posted on VRBO. It is in a residential area but no one comes down this private drive. Dollar General is nearby with anything you could need. We were gone most of the time and we would stay here again.

The property was absolutely lovely. It was located near a small town with a grocery store within walking distance. The cabin felt private, even though there were other houses and another cabin nearby. We used the fire pit a great deal. Owner provided a large stack of dry, easy to start firewood for us. The inside of the cabin was absolutely beautiful. High ceilings with light pine paneling gave it an open feeling. The only improvement I can think of is, we didn't have a dining table which we needed since we hosted some family members for dinner. Also, we have T-Mobile and couldn't get phone service. Our phones are pretty old so this may not be an issue for others. I highly recommend this location and will definitely rent it again in the future.

The property grounds is incredibly private, although you are minutes away from cities. The cabin is heavily booked according to the online calendar; therefore, it isn't as clean as when we first began using it 2 years ago. Needs a new mattress and the sofa needs cleaning or replaced. The entire cabin needs a deep cleaning. This was our 3rd stay so we do like it..

The cabin had everything we needed. The area was quiet and peaceful. The only complaint was it was warm we couldn't figure how to work the air.
