Feb 2020We were snowed in for a day while we stayed at the Cozy Cabin, but it was the perfect place for a snow day. The property is beautiful; because of the rain earlier, there was a waterfall that you can see from the bed. After walking down the road in the snow, we greatly enjoyed using the hot tub. We didn’t do much cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. Both check in and check out were very easy. Christine is a wonderfully friendly person who took our picture for us, gave us recommendations for things to do in the area, and communicated quickly. I highly recommend this cabin for a cozy mountain getaway.

I would highly recommend this cabin to the ones that want a nice quiet place to stay and very romantic. The bed was very comfortable and my lady loved the blanket on the foot of the bed. Great people loved it!

May 2022We really enjoyed our stay at The Cozy Cottage. Beautiful setting and views, peaceful, quiet, just a short drive down the valley road to the little town of Glenville, North Carolina. Perfectly equipped and a lovely host who offered to respond to any need - but we didn't need anything additional. GPS and cellpone connections worked perfectly, so we were always well-connected to our fellow wedding guests in the Smokey Mountains. Excellent sleeping, waking up to the chorus of myriad bird calls. Overall a great place to stay, chill out, and a handy base for excursions in the Glenville-Cashiers, NC area.

Feb 2021We loved our experience. The pictures were very accurate. Great size cabin for two and had a very welcoming feel. The kitchen had all the needed items as did the bathroom. The location is great to just relax at the cabin and enjoy the hot tub, go to Cashiers or Highlands to visit shops or grab something to eat, and to hike. The Primes were very helpful and provided lots of useful info upon arrival. Winter was a great time to come because it wasn’t so busy. We look forward to coming back!

Aug 2020We had a great time at this cabin. Everything was so welcoming as we stepped through the door. We had everything you could possibly need and then some. The extra touches were so nice and homey. The owners were so nice and kept in touch if we needed anything. A perfect getaway from the craziness of this world. We would highly recommend Cozy Cabin to anyone that wants a home away from home. Thanks again to the Primes for a great getaway.

Nov 2021We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a quick trip to the mountains. We have stayed in nearby towns before, but this was our first time in Glenville. The views were beautiful, and can’t wait to come back during the summer months and maybe visit Lake Glenville. The house was small and cozy, just enough for the two of us, and made the perfect romantic getaway. We loved the set up of the hot tub! Our hosts were very accommodating and made us feel right at home.

The hot tub was already heated up and we loved the lighting for the hot tub and for the house. Everything was just perfect and way beyond our expectations! The icing on the cake was the biscotti and white, luxury robes. I could just go on and on. The hosts were extremely easy to work with. Every little thing had already been thought of to make our stay perfect!

Jan 2020This property is great. We spent New Years in the mountains at Cozy Cabin on the Prime’s property. The owners are very polite, helpful, and welcoming, without being intrusive. The view is wonderful. From the fir pit and hot tub in front, there’s a lovely view of the valley, and at night,the absence of light pollution is fantastic- we could see the Milky Way with the naked eye, and are bringing a telescope next time!. The back of the cabin has a waterfall about 40 feet out the back door- can I tell you how cool it is to wake up and see a waterfall from bed? Because it’s just awesome. So, don’t even worry if it rains, you’re going to get a great night sleep and a special surprise from nature. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this quaint cabin and our entire stay. It’s a quick easy drive to the reservoir for boating/kayaking. It’s a perfect spot for a quiet getaway or to serve as a jumping off point for exploring the mountains near the eastern continental divide. Know if that you want to cook, be familiar with high altitude cooking- it’s different if you normally cook close to sea level- I must practice this more. There’s a nice brewery nearby, and the grocery in Cashiers is fairly convenient for shopping, as well as a really nice grocery store. Pontoon rentals are available in Glenville very nearby in the warm months. We definplan to return to this cabin in the summer to explore the lake, which I believe is the highest altitude lake in this mountain range. There are many hiking trails to additional falls nearby, and the roads are not hard to drive for us flatlanders. All in all, a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend staying at the Prime’s lovely property.

Christine (Chris) was wonderful and it's obvious she pays attention to detail and takes pride in her rentals. She left a bottle of Champagne in the fridge for us and little snacks on the counter with flowers. Everywhere we looked we found "little welcoming treasures" (a handwritten note, a pillow with a message for us). The cabin is private and quiet with great places outside to enjoy as pictured on the website although I found one small area I loved that I do not believe was shown on the website and that was the swing. Great place to have your coffee. Chris brought us a breakfast casserole that was divine as well and offered great advice regarding dining and activities. Thank you Chris for sharing your little section of paradise with us. We didn't get the pleasure of meeting Cricket but maybe on a return trip. Trust me if you go once it will simply be your first trip!

Jun 2020The Primes were wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Cozy Cabin. Nicely located in the area which made for decent travel time to local attractions. Quaint little cabin with lots of southern mountain charm. Relaxing waterfall right outside the bedroom window, lovely view from the patio area, the spa is nestled in a private gazebo. My wife and I had such a relaxing time. If and when we return to the area the Primes are on the top of our list!

We loved renting the pontoon boat and hiking to nearby waterfalls. There's so much to do in the area; yet the cabin feels like total solitude. We would love to stay here again.

Jun 2020The cozy cabin lived up to it's name quite well. It was clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful and the view from the hot tub was beautiful. Check in and communication were smooth and issue free. Overall, the home was a nice setting for our relaxing weekend. Thank you to Chris and we would definitely return in the future!

Feb 2020The Cozy Cabin is just as the title suggests. Nice and Cozy!! We enjoyed everything about our stay, from the property, to the mountain stream right outside the bedroom window. The hot tub was also cozy even in 30 degree weather. The Prime's (owners) do a fantastic job msking sure all of your needs are taken care of. Must visit property!! Plan to return as soon as possible!!

Nov 2020The cabin was perfect! It was everything that was described online. We got there at night and Chris left the lights on for us. The waterfall is right outside the cabin. When the windows are open you can hear it from the bedroom window. They also had a light out by the waterfall to sit outside at night. The hot tub was also perfect. You can choose to close the curtains so you have more privacy or we loved to open it up in the day time because there is a beautiful view from the hot tub. The owner was amazing! She would text us and make sure we had everything we needed. She responded fast to any questions we had. She also helped give us information on some hiking trails. We also loved how the restaurants weren't far from the cabin and also tons of hiking/waterfall trails close by. It was everything we wanted and more! Thank you so much Chris! We will definitely be back again.

Jul 2021Property is exactly as described. Cozy little cabin perfect for a couple. Off the beaten path so quiet, yet close enough to be to all of the local destinations within 10-20 minutes. Place was clean and decorated to feel confortable and the bed was great. Hot tub was a nice touch too!
