Private Waterfront Cabin auf dem Lake Washington

Was everything listed & more. The awesome little tree growing against the house had me from first sight! We arrived to a super clean, everything we needed house, with flowers & treats from the very helpful, informative owners. Then it got even better to be able to enjoy the numerous bald eagles perched on the pole by the water & soaring around, the beautiful flowers & berries growing all around the house & the walking path right by the house! All around great little house to stay at & we'll be back when we can!

Very nice place to stay.

Very comfortable living space with deck as shown in photo. Spent most of the time enjoying the mesmerizing lake views from morning to sunset. Furniture: quality, comfortable, and new. Kitchen: well stocked for eating in or just morning coffee. Has feel of getaway cabin, yet only minutes from bars, restaurants, and shopping at The Landing. Checked out the new Hyatt, but much prefer this option. We'll be back.

If you are a yogi like me, enjoy doing yoga in the bedroom loft with 3 beautiful sky lights - best yoga studio around! The house is so convenient to stores and highways yet perfectly sheltered at the same time. Morning walk? No problem, the house is a stone throw from the a walking path around Lake Washington.

This was a perfect little house for my mid week stay. Mary accommodated a mid week booking between two others for me and was extremely helpful and efficient. Thank you so much for offering your little house for VRBO, it was such a pleasant and relaxing getaway. Loved the ducks and saw the bald eagle several times.

This property was a fantastic spot for a quick getaway. Excellent location on the lake & the nearby walking/cycling trail. We loved watching the wildlife from the deck: eagles, turtles, herons, bunnies, and more. It was very quiet and peaceful. We had easy access to float in the water from the boat ramp right there.The place was well stocked. Lots of pots and pans. Toiletries. Linens for the bath & the beach. And nice touches like binoculars to watch the wildlife or an extension cord to make it easier to plug in electronics to charge.We were very grateful that the owner was well prepared for wildfire season: the two air conditioners and filter worked great during the heat and smoke. We loved that when it cooled off after sunset, we could open the front and rear doors to get a fantastic cross breeze. We did need to keep the A/C running in order to cool the loft (one window is blocked by the A/C, so you can't get much of a cross breeze going up there). We stayed in several hotels during this trip which didn't have such good ventilation & cooling! There also are shades on the front deck and tilt wood blinds in the windows, which help keep the little house cool.One thing we hadn't noted: the loft bedroom gets very bright very early. Bring eye masks if you want to sleep past sunrise. There are no blinds over the magnificent skylights.The directions were great. Parking was easy. We texted a bit with the owner. Unfortunately, early communication with the host was plagued by VRBO issues. I sent a long email introduction which never reached her, which almost caused us to lose the reservation. Make sure you phone if you don't hear back! This property is worth it.

This little house was located in a lovely spot on Lake Washington, but it was not a good choice for myself and my husband, who are seniors. We should have realized that the location of the bed in a loft area and bathroom on the main floor were separated by a set of steep and somewhat slippery stairs. This was not easy for middle of the night trips to the bathroom! It might be worth it for a summer visit when the days are long, but in December we barely saw the view except in the mornings before we left for the day. Mary was a very congenial and welcoming host and was close at hand to answer questions quickly. Note: A microwave should be added to make it possible to reheat take out meals.

This is a great house with fantastic views of Lake Washington. It is clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Mary was very attentive to our needs and gave us easy directions on getting to the house. It is very quiet and vey secure. For two people it is perfect!

This home was close to our son’s home and work. It was the perfect location. We able to play pickleball at two different sites, paddle board on Lake Washington and enjoy coffee on the porch.

The property was as advertised. The front porch that was directly on Lake Washington was a hi light. There were ducks, geese, and eagles close to the property. It was a great experience. Also the property was very clean and well maintained.

The Little House on the Lake worked great for the two of us. The owner checked with us both by email and text and was very helpful/accommodating to our questions/needs. Very clean property and beautiful sunsets across the lake. Safe area with a walking path nearby along the lake. Very much enjoyed our stay!

The house is lovely and well maintained. Mary was very flexible with our reservation and we really enjoyed our stay. Lots of nice extra touches.

My daughter and I stayed here early August 2017 and used it as a home base for our Seattle and surrounding area trip. Nice, clean and well stocked with normal household items (lots of dishes, silverware, ziplock bags, etc.). Pictures are accurate to the house's great condition and great lake view. Also has a nice pullout sleeper sofa in the living area where my daughter slept while I took the upstairs loft queen bed. Owners were great with communication and got back with answers to my questions in a timely manner. Great location and nice quiet nights. Next Seattle trip we'd love to stay here again!

Lovely peaceful stay, a rural feeling haven in a convenient urban area. Sweet, simple and well outfitted. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the lapping water of the lake, the rain on the roof, and the amazing birdsong. It was a wonderful, restful and rejuvenating weekend.

Loved my stay, close to family and friends. Serene setting, sat on the front porch and enjoyed the view at all hours ! Even in the pouring down rain!!! Sound of waves lapping on the shore were soothing and loved watching the eagle perch on the light post! Would love to stay there again! Communication with Mary was great and felt right at home! It was a great place to stay! Very quiet and very safe because there’s a gate to enter the neighborhood as well. The owner was easy to contact with questions. The location is so close to the airport, downtown Bellevue, and Seattle!

I loved this property location. Quiet and right on the lake. Use of the boat launch and dock meant hours of great paddleboarding and eagle watching! Also the running-bike trail is super close by ! Just a great place with all the amenities for a lake getaway!
