Eingebettet in Riddes, dieses schön ganze hütte für EUR 379 pro Nacht ist ein großartig Option für Ihr nächstes Pause. Das Chalet Ziggy befindet sich im Dorf Haute Nendaz, auf einem Felsvorsprung inmitten des 4-Vallées-Skigebiets. Ziggy bietet Platz für bis zu 10 Personen in fünf großzügigen Schlafzimmern. Das gesamte Haus erstreckt sich über drei Etagen. Von der untersten und der mittleren Etage gelangen Sie nach außen.
Es wurde ausschließlich für Freunde und Familie erbaut und zu einem außergewöhnlich hohen Grad mit Badezimmerzubehör von Starck und Naturstein ausgestattet. Wir vermieten es nur selten. Es liegt am Rande des Dorfes und bietet einen spektakulären Blick über die Südwand des Wallis. Mit einer Fußbodenheizung ist es ein großartiger Ort, um nach einem harten Tag auf der Piste zu stoppen. Das Chalet ist ideal für eine oder zwei Familien - auch für Babys, da wir zwei tragbare Reisebetten haben - oder für eine mittelgroße Gruppe, die einen Skiurlaub in den Bergen oder Selbstversorger verbringen möchte.
Für den Wintersport gibt es einen eigenen Skiraum und ausreichend Stauraum in der Garage, in die ein Auto mit Dachbox gebracht werden kann. Bis zur Bushaltestelle mit dem kostenfreien Skibus gehen Sie nur wenige Minuten. Eine kurze Fahrt hält Sie am örtlichen Bergbahn Tracouet. Die zentrale Skistation für die 4 Täler, Siviez, ist nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Von hier aus können Sie Vernier, Thyon und Veysonnaz bequem erreichen. Im Sommer liegt das Chalet ideal am Anfang mehrerer Bergpfade. Das Dorf-Freibad und die Tennisplätze sind nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Es gibt Liegestühle und einen Grill für die Terrasse sowie eine Tischtennisplatte.

Jan 2023This mountain chalet has sweeping views across the Valais Valley from its lovely living room. It has a well-equipped kitchen and five bedrooms making it a good choice for a large family or two couples with up to 7 children. The town of Nendaz has a number of good shops and nice restaurants. Darren (owner) is responsive.

Jan 2023we travel a lot. this was a great house, great and responsive host. wonderful stay. one nit, though the owner is very responsive, local property manager can do better job clearing the driveway from ice and snow. its a very steep and very icy driveway. stock up on lots n lots of salt or google for locals to come help :)
otherwise absolutely great place, town, owner and his recommendations for ski hire and restaurants.

Oct 2022We arrived in the evening and really struggled to find the chalet, the address we were given by the owner was apx 100 - 150 foot short of the actual location, some brief instructions or a sign off the road would have been extremely useful along with a contact tel number in advance of us arriving, in the end my partner had to walk around for apx 45 mins with a torch looking for the property, FYI look out for no 74 then i😮 turn left up a extremely steep private drive hill (2nd on right) Ziggy on garage.
The views are out of this world, however there is a cost, not only the price of the chalet, but the cost to drive up 30 mins to get there from the valley itsself everytime and if you are like us wanting to explore Switzerland, you will be adding on 1 hour to any return journey.
The chalet was nice but like all of switzerland extremely over priced, especially when the extra £150 for washing laundry and £250 for cleaning are added onto the already expensive cost, make sure you check out all addition costs when searching, the views are amazing whenever you stay if the mountains are close by.
Finally just a final moan to the owner, dont include pictures of a tennis table on your listing, if there are no bats or ping pong balls to use the tennis table, in all the places we have stayed over the years, I have never before been asked to buy something and then offered to be refunded, havent we already paid enough, joke 😔

Mar 2022This property is just wonderful, clean, modern, charming, well-apppinted and incomparable views of the Alps. Great skiing about 1 kilometer down the road. Plus decent apres ski nearby. Sion is 30 minutes away and Zermatt is about 90 minutes away. Best vacation I've had in many years!

Feb 2022Great property with fantastic view, very comfortable for 9 people with a fab kitchen, skiing fairly close by via free bus although short walk to bus stop is via steep and at times icy road and was trying but nevertheless was very enjoyable week and host was quick to respond to any queries.

Feb 2022Das Objekt ist gut gelegen, auch wenn es sich lohnt, jeden Tag mit dem Auto zur Bahn zu fahren. Skibus Haltestelle zwar in der Nähe, aber etwas mühsam zu erreichen. Gute Einrichtung im Haus, es war alles in genügendem Ausmass vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Drei Punkte, die speziell zu beachten sind: Radio und Fernsehen muss man selber mitbringen. Es gibt keinen Sateliten- oder Kabelanschluss, was ich eigentlich bei einem Objekt in dieser Preisklasse erwartet hätte. Bett- und Frottewäsche wird nur einmal zur Verfügung gestellt und nicht gewechselt. Wir mussten nach einer Woche alles selber waschen. Im Wohnraum schliessen die meisten Fenster nicht richtig und können von aussen ganz leicht aufgedrückt werden. So mussten wir alle Wertsachen jeden Tag verstecken oder sogar im Auto mitnehmen.

Jan 2022We booked this last minute as we couldn't go to France and we are so glad we did. The views are amazing, the beds really comfortable, the open plan dining/living area perfect for our party of 8. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus the log burning stove made it always really toasty after a day on the slopes. Darren was so helpful as we made our last minute preparations and always answered any queries promptly and fully. We were glad we had hired a car which made trips to the slopes and shops much easier. Overall we couldn't fault the chalet or the host.

Jan 2022Swiss dream villa and perfect location! We were 6 adults and 3 kids and it was extremely comfortable. The Chalet is clean, the kitchen is beyond well equipped, the living room has unforgettable view from the couch…you feel like you can touch with finger the Alps. The fireplace is awesome, we had fondue in front of it. Also we enjoyed BBQ, sleights for the kids…garage is available also. The house is super well heated, they also have floor heating, perfect for the kids and you to walk barefoot ;) the landlord Daren, is one of a kind person. He is polite and always ready to assist whit what can, replying immediately to our messages and needs - example: something happened to our drying machine and doesn't wanted to work, we informed Darren and on the next day we had brand new one bought and installed… thank you Darren for everything.

Jan 2022Darren is a fantastic host, the property was exactly as described, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and perfect for our two families of 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The kitchen was perfect in terms of everything it had.
Really can't say enough about the experience both of Nendaz/Verbier and the accommodations at Chalet Ziggy. We would stay again!!! Too bad the snow was just ok, not as great as we had hoped but that is always the issue this time of the year!

Mar 2021The chalet is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped. The view from balcony is amazing, the kitchen area is super with the terrace and the living room allow to enjoy the great view. Rooms are large, bathrooms well equipped also with shower and bathtub. It was a pleasure to be back from slopes and enjoy the house.

Aug 2020Das Haus liegt oberhalb von Nendaz und hat eine spektakuläre Aussicht. Es hat eine gute Infrastruktur und Ausstattung und ist mit fünf Zimmern und vier Bädern sowohl für eine Familie als auch für eine Gruppe von Freunden sehr gut geeignet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt! Wir hätten uns einzig eine persönliche Übergabe und Abnahme vor Ort gewünscht, um Fragen und Unklarheiten zu vermeiden.

Mar 2020Wir versuchen jedes Jahr gemeinsam im Kreis der Familie ein paar ruhige Wintertage gemeinsam in einem Chalet zu verbringen, so auch dieses Jahr.
Mit dem Gesamteindruck des Chalet waren alle zufrieden. Ein Makel jedoch den wir allerdings erst vor Ort festgestellt hatten waren die kleinen Doppelbetten, bzw. 2 Zimmer mit Stockbetten (ausgegangen sind wir von 1 Stockbett Zimmer)

Feb 2020We hebben erg genoten. Erg ruime woning met een prachtig uitzicht! Heel fijn om met een groter gezelschap zo een fijne keuken en aangrenzende woonkamer te hebben. Goed en snel contact met de verhuurder.
We hadden alleen gedacht nav de advertentie dat er 4 kamers met lage bedden zou zijn en 1 kamer met stapelbed. Het bleken 2 stapelbed slaapkamers te zijn. Uiteindelijk opgelost maar even anders dan verwacht.
Al met al zeer tevreden!

Sep 2018The Nendaz Chalet Ziggy is so well appointed. Great kitchen that is a so easy to cook in which we did every night after exploring the region. Great bathrooms and the view is stunning. Every morning to wake up to the mountains is quit a treat. And the book that explains everything is so well put together and complete. I highly recommend Chalet Ziggy and plan on returning. One of the best chalets.

Mar 2018Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von neun Personen für die Skiferien im Chalet und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Chalet hat einen wirklich atemberaubenden Blick auf die Walliser Berge und ausreichend Platz, um sich auch mit einer grösseren Gruppe wohl zu fühlen. Im Haus ist alles da, was man braucht, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und schöne Schlafzimmer. Zu Fuss braucht man etwa 10-15 Minuten ins Zentrum von Nendaz, wo auch der Ski- und Schlittenhang für Kinder ist, der Skibus fährt ca. 5 Minuten vom Haus entfernt zur Station. Alles gut erreichbar.
Darren hat auf meine Fragen vorab und während des Aufenthalts sehr schnell geantwortet und war sehr bemüht, uns eine tolle Zeit zu ermöglichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Jan 2016Chalet Ziggy is the perfect base for enjoying the beauty of Haute Nendaz and the surrounding areas. We were two families - so 8 people total - and the accommodations could not have been any nicer. The kitchen area was open and perfect for cooking and socializing and there were wonderful views of the not-so-distant mountains from the living room area. The sleeping rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. And the deck was the most popular hang-out spot for both kids and adults. In short, it was an amazing place and an amazing holiday adventure. Thanks to Darren for his timely responses to any questions we had.

Jan 2016Have used this chalet twice, once in winter and once in the summer. Fantastic views over Sion Valley from all the patios, very flexible sleeping accomodation on ground floor (with bathroom and shower room), all other bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Very modern kitchen with large dining area and walk through to lounge. Overall the chalet was very clean and well maintained. Ideal location wjhether using it as a base for skiing or summer hill walking. Would definately return again and recommnd it.

Jan 2016Can heartily recommend Chalet Ziggy. Ziggy adheres to Alpine tradition of timber interior, while at the same time being wholly modern and airy. We stayed for a week, skiing extensively around Nandez and Verbier. It's an exhilarating twenty minute drive to the main ski station. The chalet is modern and practical with a downstairs boot room straight onto the parking. All the facilities are new and are easy to use. There are lots of cosy modern bedrooms and impeccable bathrooms with powerful showers and heated floors. The standout feature is a large new kitchen diner with long table and benches, with one wall a full length window, providing a delightful platform for watching the weather play out its dramas across the mountain peaks and valley below.
