Nov 2022We really enjoyed our time here. I would suggest have a few extra blankets in the living room for guests. Easy walk from the bus stop with the exception of a pretty steep hill to get your suitcases up.

Jun 2022Absolutely incredible view with a great balcony. My friends and I had an unforgettable stay. I wish the windows had screens for bugs, and it wasn't easy to fit six of us, but other than that it was near-perfect.

Mar 2022The place needs some work. A lot of things are old and need some updating. The sofa bed is very tiny I wouldn’t consider It a sofa bed maybe a small child fits, It was also very dusty and didn’t have sheets for It. The location is not great, you definitely need a car if staying there. The view though is very pretty of the lake. The balcony is quite big probably bigger than the inside of the house. The bathroom upstairs is tinyy. And gosh the water heater… you will have hot water for not a very long time. We tried to mess around with It so It would heat up for longer but no luck. You will have to take very quick showers. There are spiders in the rooms, a lot of them. The washer works well, the dryer does not. Like I said It needs some newer items in there, definitely feels a bit abandon. For some good things the Wifi works really well! And the heater heats up nicely.

Dec 2021The property's location, views, and condition are excellent if you are visiting the Interlaken area. You are a 5-10 minute drive to Interlaken OST (Train Station) where you can catch trains to Jungfrau, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and Harder Kulm. You are minutes from the twin lakes and views from the property are spectacular (located on a small hill). The patio wraps around most of the second floor and is perfect for meals or drinks overlooking the lake. The driveway is a little tight if you are in a SUV (so be careful backing out) and the street to the cabin is single lane and can only fit one car at a time, but by no means a deal-breaker. There are also supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl, and Coop very close by and the neighborhood where the cabin is located is very clean, quite, and with some charming houses around. The cabin itself is cozy and perfect for four adults. One bedroom is downstairs and one upstairs with an open kitchen/living room. Upstairs bedroom and bathroom are a little tight but do the job. Kitchen has a nice cooktop, fridge, dishwasher, and all utensils - we cooked almost everyday and was well worth it! There is a hot water heater which you may have to reset if four adults shower twice a day but once the tank is full, water is wonderful. Superclean and tasty water directly from the faucet so be sure to fill your bottles instead of spending money on bottled water (which in Switzerland is more expensive than alcohol)! Host was very responsive, left us a bar of chocolate and binder with guide and free local bus/train tickets upon our arrival. Would highly recommend this cabin to any family travelling to the Interlaken area and family of four or up to four adults.

Nov 2021We stayed here so we could explore the region (Jungfrau, Adelboden, Interlaken, etc) It was perfect for this and it has a spectacular lake view. The house is small and simple but nice and cozy. Parking was easy.

Oct 2021Das Haus ist relativ klein aber sehr komfortabel, hübsch, sehr sauber und wunderbar gelegen. Es ist gut ausgestattet und hat einen riesigen Balkon von wo man direkt auf den See schauen kann. Das separate Zimmer mit Bad im Erdgeschoss fanden unsere Kinder super, so konnten sie sich manchmal zurückziehen und etwas für sich bleiben. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Les deux salles de douche sont petites et pas très pratiques pour les gens grands mais ça va pour quelques jours. Sinon le chalet est bien équipé et avec une grande terrasse. Le quartier est très calme et agréable. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Aug 2021Ich war mit meiner Mutter und meinen Kindern (fast 5- und 6-jährig) Anfang August im Chalet. Das Chalet bietet eine sehr grosse Terrasse (fast Verdoppelung der Wohnfläche) mit sehr schöner Aussicht auf den Brienzersee, sowie einen privaten Gartensitzplatz mit Grill, eigene Waschmaschine/Tumbler und Privatparkplatz. Obwohl die Zimmer eher klein sind, konnte uns die Unterkunft mit ihrem Charme fesseln und wir würden jederzeit wieder gerne buchen. Die Kommunikation lief absolut unkompliziert ab und war sehr angenehm.

Somewhat small on the inside and we did not realize that the 2nd bedroom/bath living space was outside entry only. Kitchen area worked out well for cooking. Overall great place and value!

Nov 2020Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem gemütlichen kleinen Häuschen!
Alles hat prima funktioniert und es hat an nichts gefehlt.
Die Aussicht auf den See und die Berge ist herrlich ! Jeden morgen, nach einer guten Nacht auf den sehr bequemen Matratzen haben wir in der warmen Stube unseren Kaffee und Tee genossen bevor wir uns dann auf den Weg gemacht haben um die schöne Gegend zu erkunden.
Check in war total einfach und umkompliziert dank Juliet's Beschreibung - der Parkplatz direkt am Haus - also einfach alles ganz toll !!!

Nov 2020Belle vue mais c’est un chalet plus pratique l’été que l’hiver car c’est assez petit. Difficile à vivre à quatre (2 couples). En été, l’usage de la grande terrasse règle le problème. En hiver, ce chalet est presque toujours à l’ombre ce qui demande de le chauffer pas mal avec un poêle à mazout ( qui sent parfois très fort et qui tombe en panne des fois). A deux c’est super et on a apprécié notre séjour.

Jul 2020Das Chalet ist sehr gut gelegen, mit einer fantastischen Sicht auf den See. Grosse Terasse, schöner Garten mit Grill. Zu erwähnen ist auch, dass das Chalet an einer sehr ruhigen Lage sich befindet. Die Schlafzimmer sind schön und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet.

Sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende und unkomplizierte Vermieterin.
See und Böningen mit diversen Restaurants und kleinen Läden innerhalb von wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Interlaken zu Fuss (ca.30 Minuten) oder mit Auto / Bus innerhalb von 10 Minuten erreichbar.

Jul 2018Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage in diesem traumhaft gelegenen Domizil. Ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge. Die Vermieterin war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat etwaige Probleme schnell beseitigt.
Anzumerken sei, dass es mit 4 Personen eigentlich voll belegt ist (vergleiche Sitzmöglichkeiten und Größe innen und dass man sich etwas mehr Küchenausstattung wünschen würde (Töpfe + Deckel + Pfannen).
Trotzdem 5 Sterne und danke !

Nov 2017We had a wonderful time. We used the property as a jumping off point to explore the region, as it is nicely located near Interlaken, Jungfrau, Mürren, etc with an easy drive to all. We had a car, but the local transport links look to be very easy and convenient to get wherever you need to go. We had dinner in Bönigen a few times, it was out of season so nothing was busy. With two small children, we didn't use the separate downstairs bedroom other than to store our luggage, and use the second bathroom. We slept on the sofa bed, and the kids had the bedroom, so we could keep an ear out for them. With older children, or separate friends staying, the separate bedroom would get more use. As it was autumn, the property was situated on the shady side of the lake, so we didn't use the outside space as much, but see how this would be great in the summer. Having said this, even just sitting inside, and looking out of the large sliding doors, we enjoyed the scenery and changing weather very much; it made for a relaxing holiday. Everything we needed for cooking and eating was provided, and the owners left very helpful information for the property and region. We had a great time, and are already planning another trip the the region.

Juliet, the owner, was prompt in answering any questions before our trip, very helpful in providing us with things to do, and when we didnt know how to work the washing machine and we called her, she came to the house and explained how it works. Dec 2015A lovely villa with a spectacular view of the lake. Just 6 - 8 mins by bus from Interlaken Ost station. It away from the bustle of the city centre yet very easily accessible by bus or car. It takes just 10 mins to reach the town centre. The kitchen was well equipped. The only draw back was the steep climb of abot 100 - 125m to the villa from the main road (which can be offset by the spectacular view) and the bedroom on level 1 was bit cramped.
Overall I will surely recommend the villa and the lovely host Juliet.

Oct 2014Fantastic property, exactly as described. While inside the chalet is smallish, it has everything you need and enough space to accommodate a couple or a family with young children. We were there with our 12 and 10 year olds who had a lovely time. They loved the backyard and the bikes. The deck is huge. A great spot to sit and take in the amazing views with a glass of wine. Juliet is a fantastic host. Very proactive with customer service, even offering activity ideas. I highly recommend this property to people who like to stay somewhere a bit quieter. Make sure you take the easy walk along the lake. It's beautiful.

Jul 2014-Great location in a little village. Local amenities and convenience stores open every day. Good transport links to other areas. Away from touristy Interlaken town centre
-Chalet itself is small, a snug fit for two adults and small child. The terrace was lovely providing lots of outdoor space. Great view from both inside and outside the chalet
-Facilities in the chalet were excellent. Very new and well kitted out throughout. Perhaps some sharper knives would have been helpful. Great to have access to washing machine
-The bikes provided were of dubious quality and very heavy. Not really appropriate for long rides
-Overall a lovely place to stay for some tranquility and beauty after spending your days taking advantage of all the activities around Interlaken!

All what we need there, but it is only missing a mirror in the chalet there is only one in the bathroom and there is no Light in the garden .
If I came back to interlaken definitely I will stay here again.

Location of the chalet was excellet , the area has supermarkets, bakery, farmacy, resturants and about 5 minutes drive to centre interlaken.
The chalet has specious balcony with wonderfull and amazing view of lake brienz.
