Shuimu Xiaoxiang Holiday Guesthouse

We liked our room, though it could have used some more deeper cleaning (black mold in shower-which leaked, and vacuum the bugs out of the light area by the head of the bed in the loft). The scenery was beautiful, and it was a convenient location to the not-so-busy park entrance. The room could have also used a mini fridge for food we brought, or it would have been nice to have a few Western type options for breakfast. The hotel owner was incredibly sweet and accommodating.

See the above comments for suggested improvements. Also, the doors to the patio wouldn’t close and it allowed bugs to come in. We had to close it in a certain way to “stay closed”.

This is a cozy place to stay. The location is very close to an entrance to the Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area. The hotel and the area around the hotel is also very beautiful. Everybody in the hotel is friendly and helpfully. The food is awesome. They do have an English Speaking guide who helps out in the communication and he tries to make everything happened for the guests.

The inn is outside town, with a couple houses near by. We had the family suite with the loft. As soon as we walked into the room we loved it. The room is big with a nice balcony. The beds were very comfortable. I usually wake up around 5 or 6 but it was comfortable and cozy in bed we were all sleeping in until 7:30. We had most of our meals here at the hotel which were very good. Once we told them we did eat spicy the dishes were even better. Breakfast was included we paid for the other meals which were very reasonable. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. In the mornings someone would drive us to one of the entrance to the park and pick us up from there at night. My boys loved practicing their Chinese, playing with the dog and eating wild berries. We would totally come back here and stay here again.

A fantastic location, removed from the crowds and the noise. You need a car to get there and to ove around.
