The view was lovely and I loved the open plan setup.

The view, kitchen side was on point, you can even take a walk to town. The swimming pool so nice, it's a place to relax...

The view is spectacular, with the Kowie River, the Marina, the Indian Ocean and most of Port Alfred all in view. The downstairs unit we were in was very large, with an excellently equipped kitchen (5 hob gas stove, large fridge, dishwasher, and plenty of prep area thanks to the island), dining area, separate lounge, two bedrooms and 1 and a half bathrooms. The main bedroom has a fantastic king size bed, and the second room has both a single and double bed available. There's a small patio leading out from the main bedroom, with an outdoor dining table and Weber braai. There's also a nice garden area with a shared pool. There are countless things to do and see around the town and its surrounding areas, with most of them simply a minutes drive away. The staff were excellent, incredibly friendly and truly accommodated us during our stay. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

According to the photos, when we originally booked our unit a few months before our stay, it was an upstairs unit. However, we received a downstairs unit, which was actually a nice upgrade in terms of spaciousness. But, unfortunately the sound insulation between the upstairs and downstairs unit isn't great. Simply walking in the upstairs unit makes it sound like feet are being stomped around when you're in the downstairs unit. Being close to the ocean means cockroaches are a problem, especially in the kitchen of the unit we stayed in. Bring some Doom Defend with you and keep your bags, etc. closed and stored somewhere else.

The place is beautiful cozy, with exceptional views. Did I mention sparkling swimming pool and beatiful scenery. The place is close to local amenities. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

There was no drinking water in the fridge, and there was no extra toilet paper worse in a family room.

At exactly 10:00 the lady came to knock with a loud knock to remind us that it's checkout time and 5 minutes later the gentleman came with another knock to tell us the same thing.

The host was so graceful and amazing. It had an amazing view of port Alfred. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing , Thank you !

The hosts was very welcoming. Rooms and added facilities (we liked the darts) were excellent. Pity it is was raining, we couldn't utilize the swimming pool area

This is not much of what we didn't like but just a thought. There are two single chairs in front of the TV. We would have preferred one bench seat. But that's our preference as a couple and not something that would be characterised as a "dislike"

The cleanliness, the whole house was perfect, Tv, WIFI its strong. They have nice showers, the pool are, braai area was ready. They have everything that a visitor would like to have. The kitchen its very clean.

The breakfast was delicious, and the beautiful view and the place were not what I expected.
