Feb 2022We were surprised to find the Santa Maria just at the bottom of the amazing Bahai Gardens in Haifa on one sode, and at the top of a beautiful street with lots of restaurants and vibrant atmosphere on the other side. So perfectly situated! Then we entered our family suite (business travel, took one room for the guys, one for the ladies) and found it super clean, facing a quiet internal yard. It served us perfectly for the night!!

The structure is built in a way that doesn't allow for windows. The Bahai gardens are right out the door, but no view of them from inside.

Dec 2022The Maria guesthouse was a wonderful place to stay during the Christmas festival. I loved the location - it was just a short walk from the German Colony and Nisnas Wadi, as well as all of the local attractions. I appreciated the warm welcome and the care we received from the owners of the guesthouse. All in all, I would highly recommend this guesthouse to others and would stay here again without a doubt

the washing machine was not in the apartment, however the host was very kind and helpful and she did our laundry.
A nice place which needs an upgrade in cleaning
Jan 2023The location just in the center of the German colony, amazing. There is a nice patio in the property with space for the kids to play etc, so that was nice too.
The room was not clean, there were dust balls on the floor at the bedside, a black layer of dust on the airconditioner just above the bed, and dust all over. Better cleaning would definitely benefit the place.
The Inn was simply perfect, comfortable & convenient for seeing what main street Haifa has to offer!

A bit noisy since the location is a bit too close to a roundabout; some cable TV channels could not be watched (poor technical quality). Otherwise the place is quite good.

needed in place and in good order.
We were given different room from the one we ordered
(without balcony), so I felt somewhat cheated. I did not
like the (slight) smell in the room, probably of cleaning
agents. The sheets and towels looked a bit shabby to me.
Excellent home to sleep all 5 of us in comfortable space and a very helpful host.

Although free Wi-Fi was provided, the signal was poor in the bedroom, probably because of the stone wall materials.

Jul 2022Everything exceptional. We family of 5 wanted to stay night in Haifa. Found this place. Location is so beautiful, near Bahai gardens, street down to the railststion is so beautiful, full of restaurants. The place is so cozy, we were literally blown away. Incredibly comfortable. Hostess was super friendly.
