Ivory Coaste

Very pleasant and relaxing stay at Ivoiry Cost'd. First, the home stay is located on the seaside in a coconut tree forest between 2 wonderful beaches after a couple of minutes walk. Then the owner warmly welcome you and enjoy its guests with discrete attention, helping when needed, and excellent Kerala food that gradually make harder the departure day... and think stronger "I will surely come again!" As suggestion, sofas or armchairs could be installed in the garden/terrace to make more pleasant and convenient exchanges between the guests.

Our bed mattress was feeled a little hard...

The rooms were great - clean and spacious bedroom & bathroom, quiet and peaceful location. The 1st floor rooms would overheat during the day but the fan is very silent so we kept it running throughout the night without it disturbing our sleep. Bipin was an amazing host. He provided not only a deliciously home-cooked breakfast but also the option to have home-cooked lunches and dinners. Something different was served very day - we asked for vegetarian and everything was fresh, light and not overly spicy. He also makes a great masala chai. Basically Bipin was a very helpful host and made our stay in Kannur comfortable and memorable.

The 1st floor rooms offer more privacy but do get hot after a whole day of sun, so if you are concerned about the heat then maybe request for a ground floor room.

The place is a 5 minute walk from a secluded beach, and the location of the property is in a really quiet area outside of Kannur. Great place for relaxation and to while away the hours listening and spotting local wildlife.

The location of the property is barely 100 meters from the sea, it's on a cliff, all you need to do is leave the property take a stair down and you are there. The best experience is with the hospitality of the owner Bipin, he was incredibly helpful with our early check-in, arranging a two-wheeler & lastly organizing an auto at 4 am for our check out. Bipin cooks delicious food so do not miss out to have your breakfast/lunch & dinner at the property. Anyone looking to experience solitude with nature is a must-visit place for them.

The location is amazing: hidden in the trees within the sound of the sea. In a couple of minutes you are on a palm ringed, sandy, and empty beach which is perfect for swimming, particularly in the morning. It's almost unbelievable for India. Our upstairs room was a good size with a very nice attached bathroom. It is a very quiet and relaxing place. Bipin is a great host and we enjoyed a tasty authentic Keralan breakfast evert single morning. Lunch and dinner were also available (and delicious) for only 100 and 75 rupees respectively, which was good because it is a half hour walk to the only restaurant in the village. This is a place to really relax away from most of the noise and hassle of India.

The bed was a little too hard for our tastes, but this was a minor detail.

The host was very accommodating and helpful. We were served fresh home cooked authentic meals. He also helped us with the transportation.
