It’s a shame out the front of the restaurant on the beach has rubbish. Maybe Coral View could clean

Sep 2022We loved everything about Coral View Villas! My boyfriend had been there before 5 years earlier, and all the lovely things he told me about the place was true. The breakfast is delicious, the bungalows are cosy and all the staff members are so nice and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

Magical piece of Bali…quiet and calm, amazing snorkeling
Aug 2022We had a double story family bungalow which was on the beach front. Amazing views, sounds of the waves, gorgeous beach for walking and snorkeling directly in front of the resort. The gardens and pool are beautifully kept, the staff are so kind and friendly, the bathrooms are wonderful and we had plenty of space in our bungalow and front porch which was surrounded by lawns. There’s some swings for children:-) The food at the resort was very impressive- the real home made chicken nuggets and chips were so great plus the pizzas were fantastic! You haven’t experienced Bali if you haven’t been to a smaller quieter place like Amed.
There’s a few sales people on the beach (massages, snorkel hire etc) that are a bit too pushy for our comfort but this can happen all over Bali. The mosquito nets over the beds are pretty shabby and need replacement. Neither of these things would stop us staying again though!
Comfortable beachfront holiday
Jan 2022The staff were very helpful and accommodating to our requests for room changes and early breakfast times.
As the restaurant was not opened for lunch and dinner during Covid times, they offered to arrange take away from nearby restaurants for us.
Free water bottle refill dispenser was offered at the restaurant.
The hotel is located right in front of a stretch of black sand beach, lined with more than a hundred fishing boats, which is such a wonderful sight.

was not very welcoming on arriving and we arrived and it was raining was made to carry our own luggage to our villa when the staff showing us had umbrellas. The doors didn’t close properly when leaving the villa you use a padlock and chain The outside bath and shower looks good till the worms suddenly appear and are crawling everywhere. Stayed the one night and left in the morning after rats running around during the night

May 2022The property was wonderful, the rooms were clean and and had gorgeous bathrooms. The pool was great too and you can’t beat that location. On the beach. The beach was the BEST. Calm water, sand for my kid to play on, coral 10m away from the shore. It was magical.
Disappointing for a $200 a night stay

The villa on the beach was old and tired, the villa was dirty and smelled really bad ( damp and musty), the mosquito nets were stained and ripped, we were 6 nights and the sheets were not changed. The level of cleaning was poor, old mop with dirty water and a disgusting rags to clean the bathroom. The local fisherman out the front were rude and yelled at us because we did not want to go snorkelling on their boats. The breakfast was average and the buffet not very hygienic

Jun 2022The loveliest place on Lipah Beach where you can go straight into the sea, both for swimming and snorkeling and meet amazing fish and see corals. Beautiful lush gardens at the hotel and nice swimming pool. Of course, nice staff and room too.

Aug 2022Our family had a double storey room right on the beach. Spacious, quiet, equipped with everything they needed, including lounge chairs in the front garden.
Room wasn’t prepared with 3rd bed for the extra child and they were a bit ungracious initially about supplying it, then there was no mosquito net available. All worked out in the end though.

Aug 2022Location is great, you can go snorkelling in front of the accommodation and even see some turtles when lucky. Easy to arrange transport or tours with locals on the beach in front of the villas. spacious villas with nice outdoor bathroom. fridge in the room. nice swimming pool and garden.
restaurant for dinner and lunch was not great, but there are great options in Amed. Breakfast buffet was good. you can ask for eggs as well.

The perfect stay. The staff, cuisine, view, and beachside bungalow exceeded our expectations.
Oct 2022From check in to check out we were amazed by how accomodating the staff were. My partner, daughter and I enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning our annual family holidays at this resort. The beach is picturesque and the snorkelling world class. There were sea turtles right out the front and I saw over a hundred new species of fish and coral right off the beach. We stayed in a beach side bungalow and could not have been happier. The menu in the restaurant is well planned with exquisite presentation and taste with a balance of both Indonesian and Western cuisine. My teenage daughter could not get enough of the garlic prawn dish! The cocktails are amazing and the daily massages on our beach side lounge chairs really made it hard to leave. We will be back again and again! I couldn't rate this place any higher. We have travelled to Bali many, many times but this was by far our favourite stay. By the end, we didn't even leave the resort. Everything we needed was right there. It was a truly authentic experience and worth every cent.
What I didn't like is that we had to leave. We are already planning our next stay!
