Jun 2021Very comfortable bed, strong window AC during this heat wave, beautiful building with view on the water. The restaurant has good food, although a bit pricey and all personnel is very friendly. We particularly liked to hang out in the veranda overlooking the water (across the street from the parking lot, mind you).

Jul 2021Lovely old inn with all the funky uniqueness you'd expect in an older building. Yet everything worked as you would expect in a modern hotel - no issues with the WIFI, plumbing, A/C or any other aspect of the stay. Staff at the check-in were very friendly and welcoming, getting our stay off to an excellent start.
We were a bit disappointed in the dinner we ate there. Our impression was that they may have been over-booked and staff therefore a bit overwhelmed ... service was very friendly and informative but slow; the food was very tasty but just warm, not hot, as if it had been sitting for a few minutes before delivery. Thankfully we were not in a hurry and the dinnertime entertainment was very enjoyable, so overall it was still a pleasant experience.
A nice romantic getaway not too far from home.

Jun 2022Liked the cleanliness of the rooms. Liked the bed linens and the blinds. Ambience was nice.
Entertainment was great! Meals were tasty at the restaurant.
Excellent location in the town. Lots of lovely sitting areas in the Inn, but not all seats are comfortable.
Coffee maker didn't work, but they have good coffee in town but nothing opens before 9 am in the town. For an Inn, it would have been nice to have brewed coffee available downstairs for guests.
The bath mat needs to be changed. The continental breakfast leaves alot to be desired. No TV in the room.
Recommend for visitors to the Westport area.

If you are going for a romantic night away, don't waste your time staying there for supper. Go out in town. No ambience for a romantic supper. Also in the front bedrooms you hear a fan come on every minute for about 30 seconds. Very noisy.
