Nov 2022While the cottage was compact it was beautifully appointed. The furnishings were well placed to give a sense of space. It had everything we needed. The location was great as we were just outside of Algonquin Park. The cottage was located just across the road from a lake, so we had beautiful views. The hosts were very accommodating.

Booking.com sent messages that seemed irrelevant. For example suggesting we could get late checkout when that was not possible.
The stay was awesome . We hiked for two days,

We were 4 adults staying in a two bedroom cottage. Space was tight. If you stayed in the summer it would probably be space enough because you would be outside more but for the fall it was very tight. Not the owners problem, we had to try it too know.

Sep 2021This was a perfect getaway spot. Clean friendly and very family friendly. So relaxing and lots to enjoy. The view was spectacular and feeding the chipmunks by hand was truly amazing. Bring your peanuts !!

Nov 2022The place is really nice. It has all kind of facilities for families, and also for couples. We had a great time just looking at the lake. The views are fantastic. It was quite. Mature clients. Very friendly staff and helpful. Great lakefront.

Apr 2021The location was stunning and the amount of things available to guests at no additional costs was amazing. It's a very short drive from Algonquin and the owner offered us a day parking pass for $10. Staff was friendly and the cabin was cozy, clean, fully equipped and with the comfiest bed ever.

Nov 2022The location is excellent for trips in the area, it has a nice private beach , the cabin we rented was clean and pleasant to stay and the price is reasonable.
With the exception of a small soap, the unit has no amenities in the bathroom. The landlord explained to me that this is not a hotel and he does not provide shampoo and shower gel. As tourists, this was a problem for us, especially since we arrived late afternoon and the nearest store where we could stock up was about 10km away and closed already.

Nov 2020Lovely location, lovely cabin. Very clean and cozy.
We couldn't have an outdoor fire pit so we were very disappointed about that. One more issue which upset us is that there were two large dogs running all over the property. We would not have minded if they had been well trained and behaved, but they were neither. We do not know if they were the owners dogs or other guests but we feel that there should be a rule

In cottage amenities are clean and well equipped.
The only piece of criticism would be around the automatic light and fan in the bathroom - is inconvenient at nightmare and quite loud.

Cable TV is good with many channels.
I do not enjoy the bunk bed as there is no ladder. It is not easy to get on with the side bar, if the bar is removed, I don't feel safe sleep on the upper bed.
Small kitchen with the rectangle table, can not use the bench when a person is cooking.
We loved our stay there. Relaxed and very quiet. All facilities are met more than our expectation.
Jun 2022Kitchen facility was complete as promised. I really don't need to bring anything except food. Cottage is exceptionally clean. Jeff is very pleasant and accommodating. Resolved minor issues. Hope they will include shampoo, body wash and conditioner in their bathroom.
